Good area, helpful staff, lots of shops and restaurants nearby

Central location. No place for clothes. Room smelled musty. No room cleaning done during our stay. The staff were okay. I will not book hotels through HOTELS. Com again. The condition of the property for the last two stays did not reflect the pictures.

Loved loved loved this place! So nice and modern looking, AC was amazing, the shower was immaculate (literally had the best shower I’ve had in ages here lol)! The place is pretty small, but as a solo traveler, I loved it, it’s just enough space for me. The room is listed as a double occupancy, but I don’t know how two people could comfortably stay in that room lol, so I get people’s complaint that it’s too small. One minor issue I had though was the WiFi suddenly started acting up one night and just would not work. Thought it was just me, but then I saw a phone hotspot pop up nearby so I figured another guest also had issues with the WiFi so just started using their phone’s hotspot. That was annoying, I had to just go to bed, but it seemed to be working again in the morning. But overall, I loved my stay here and would stay here again for sure! Definitely recommend! I keep comparing my other hotels I stayed in afterward to this one to see if they measure up lol

Was hard to get temperature in room comfortable.

Very small room. Toilet and shower 2 steps from bed. Otherwise clean staff very nice.

Good for 1 night stay. Clean room. Sky tv is a bonus. All facilities good.

Would stay here again. Room compact but comfortable. Close to train station and public transport. Breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Our room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked as expected. Dinner was good with quick service. Breakfast buffet was good .. would have been nice to have some hot items available. Convenient to Queen Street train.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I ended up checking in 2 days late due to my flight being cancelled because of an issue with the plane. I emailed them to tell them and they were so understanding. They not only kept my room but also suggested the best way to get from Edinburgh Airport. Once I was actually able to check in, they made sure I was taken care the whole time and just made my trip to Glasgow more delightful than I ever thought it could be. This will definitely be my go-to place for my trips to Glasgow now!

Astonishing value for money.

Room was perfect for escaping the bright morning sun and warm temperatures for a night. Almost absolute darkness, silence and air conditioning in a room that felt really well thought out - a small space well used. Staff were friendly and everything was spotless Only minor issues was that there was no instructions for the air con (although I’m sure if I’d asked they would have helped - found quickly online) and the side door you go out after 11 isn’t as well signposted as it could have be. There was an arrow pointing to it, but I hesitated to push it because it looked like a fire exit. Will definitely be back.

It was peaceful and pleasant for me. My daughter went off to the Highlands for five days and I was at the Z Hotel. I found it perfectly adequate for one person and the staff were so helpful. I'd go back there 'in a New York Minute' - even though I'm actually in Santa Fe, New Mexico ! Thank You, All !

Brilliant find right in the heart of glasgow. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room clean and modern with tea and coffee making facilities. Shower and toilet also clean and modern. Loved the complementary cheese and wine available every day at 5pm, that was a nice touch. We will certainly book again.

Centrally located yet quiet at night. Easily access the city centre by walking and major train stations. I had one night at the hotel that was great for a solo traveler with good amenities and ample of coffee and teas to help wake up/relax. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, I’d absolutely stay here again.

Room small, which I expected, but well equipped. Great shower, good tea/coffee making, comfortable bed. Friendly staff on reception. Was offered a cheese and wine taster which I didn't take up as had other plans. Very central local.

Close to Queen Street train station. Quick check in and out.
