Nice big room, friendly staff and really good breakfast. Location was also good! Close to everything!

Expected more based on description and price considering that it is in Nis. Great location. Parking is limited - good luck! Terrible cocktails ( if you return it they still charge for it). Waiter (for outdoor serving) was rude. Room updated but poorly done. Doors were not closing well. No bathrobes (as described) and limited toiletries. Half of lights not working ( checked switches by the bed as well). No rooftop terrace. Good minibar pricing. Loud AC. Teo TVs one remote.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful. The room we had was truly lovely, an executive suite. Truly worth the extra little amount for the larger room. We lived the shower pressure and could have stayed in it for an hour. The bed was super comfortable. The parking garage is on the main road with a small blue P sign just before the main square before the pizza place. Easy to miss the first time around as it doesn’t say Ambassador just a P in blue for parking. The staff talked to me on the phone and waited outside for me to make sure I didn’t miss it a 2nd time. Super sweet ladies at check in and check out. Everyone was very helpful. The spa was lovely and I wish I had a couple of free hours to enjoy it rather than a quick walk thru. Enjoy your time in Nis at this hotel!

Overall Ok however as non smoker I do not like walking into reception with heavy smell of Smoke from cigarettes. Missing make up meteor in bathroom

Ambasador Hotel is a really nice place to stay. Kind and helpfull staff, great room and a fantastic restaurant. Nis is a nice city, and Ambasador is right in the midle. We really enjoyed our short stay.

Beautiful hotel with paid limited parking. Excellent staff.

There was no ability to control the AC in my room. The control panel did not work. The internet is too slow, it's useless. $12 per day for parking is ridicules.

Return Guest — 3rd Stay — Excellent

I’m not sure how they can get away with a “5 Star” title. This is a high 3-low 4 at best. The hotel is tall and impressive at first glance, as it towers over downtown Nis. Reception and service is mediocre, offering only basic niceties. The rooms are very large and beds are comfortable, but the amenities are not up to par. The lighting is horrible, despite their being several light switches that are unnecessarily complicated to use. There is no lighting in the storage area yet several different lighting options around the bed. Wifi was hardly useable. They lack basic amenities such as wine glasses and expected toiletries, only offering the larger pump bottles of generic body wash and shampoo in the shower. The room is overwhelmingly dark purple, which only makes the lighting issue worse. The room also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The carpet was stained where it meets the glass partition to the shower, as I am sure that years of moisture had made it through that barrier. Soundproofing is advertised, but we could hear and feel every step taken by the person/people staying in the room above us, as well as the traffic on the busy street below. The food at breakfast was pretty standard, but there was insufficient seating and service. All of the tables were being used and there were several guests waiting. There appeared to be only one poor employee trying to get dishes and find seating for the guests which resulted in difficulty having dishes replenished.

Very nice hotel with large and very well decorated rooms . The only thing I can say is “ surprisingly no sitting available for non smoking customers.

Great hotel in the very downtown

The hotel is located in the very center of Nis, right at the main sqare with pedestrian zone. In the courtyard there is a guarded parking place. My room was with a great viaw and a large king size bed which was very convenient. Aircondition worked during all the day, so the room was at nice 24 °C , outside 38! The gym is fitted with Techno gym devices, which is exceptional for a hotel in that area. And there is an apparatus for almost everything like in a high class fitenss studio. i was missing just a chest press and a löadder wall. (not really needed on travels) The breakfast was amazing! Much better that Radisson or Hilton standard with local dishes and fresh fruits. Perfect!

Although a very nice hotel and in the center, the staff is totally terrible. I will try and summarize, at it was quite nasty. 1. the security/valet guy who didn't know any English and was rude (even putting his hand on my steering wheel while I was parking). About the parking: extremely squeezed and you need to let your key at the reception. Furthermore, I found that somebody checked inside my car (dashcam removed from the windshield and papers moved). 2. Concierge at the reception who barely speaks English. They retained my ID, not making copy. Gave me back my ID only on my request. 3. No support in case you forget something at the hotel, even if you are asking to send you the forgotten item and invoice you or in case you are paying a courier to grab the item and send it back to you. All in all: don't recommend it and I will not book again with them.
