This is an ok place to stay for the price. The staff is very attentive and the place is clean. The air conditioning was just so-so and the fridge eventually got cold but it was an old model and the freezer worked better than the fridge. Overall I would recommend it for a short stay. Not a great beach and far from better beaches and shopping.

Good stay, great views, very nice helpful staff, really nice pool. Room was nice and glad had fridge. Bathroom shower should have door handle. Breakfast should have more options and use a menu to put in order as may not want same foods every day! Also no restaurant there to eat later in day. Location is pretty isolated, roads are dark, as not close to stores or sit down places to eat.

Comfortable apartment, downstairs in stilt villa.(starfish). Lovely staff, beautifully tended garden. Very small pool, but refreshing dip. About 1/2 hour walk to Cote d or. Great free WiFi and good satellite TV. Very comfortable beds, excellent shower and aircon.Close enough to walk 1 hour to Anse Lazio.We had a great stay.

My brother-in-law and sister went for honeymoon in first week of Feb ...staff was nice and comforting...they didnt have d category of room we booked so they provided with an upgrade and better room which was a great hospitality...also they make special arrangements if you ask them and reply to you asap on mail regarding a querry...not much far from airport and most visited places in Praslin. They made my sister and brother-in-law stay in their relative lodge for one day because we extended booking for one day which was a little discomforting because I informed this change in booking 3 weeks earlier.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights, overall it was alright, however I found the " mum " lady in charge is not helpful at all, didn't provide advice on the exclusions, all thinking about money. The other staffs are good though. The lady in charge appeared not pleasant to tourists ! It ruined my tour ! Apart from this, the location is far from the centre and only by bus ( very infrequent schedule)! Really opposite to its rating ! Disappointed

From being met by Gretel on our arrival with a much needed glass of cold juice, to the arranged transfer to the airport, this holiday was amazing. Gretel and her staff are very welcoming and friendly and will go out their way to answer questions and help wherever they can. Hire car was available on site, which we rented for a day. The car was immaculately clean and renting it was easy and efficient. Fishing and boat trips could be organised by Gretel, again this was very easy to do and well worth it. Breakfast was delivered to our villa each morning, which could then be eaten admiring the lovely view of Curieuse Island or watching the humming birds amongst the trees. The snorkelling just off the beach in front of the property was brilliant, with lots of species to be seen within the reef. Overall a fabulous holiday, made all the more special with the stay at this property. A big thank you Gretel and her staff!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Sea View Lodge. The rooms are well-appointed with great views, the gardens are beautiful and well-tended and the little swimming pool was very welcome. But what makes it really stand out is the wonderful service and welcome you receive from Gretel, her family and the staff. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a family run hotel with about 7 or so self catering individual apartments. They are spotlessly clean and cared for, and Gretel the owner was lovely. She arranged our taxi from the airport on Praslin for us and a meal the first night as we arrived late. There is a local bus (25p anywhere on the island) right outside the hotel that will take you to other beaches. You must visit Anse Lazio which is a short walk up the hill from the bus stop, and Cote D'or beach which is also a short bus ride. Beware of sandflies on cote'd'or though. Lots of insect repellent and a thick beach towel.

Located in a lovely part of the island on Anse Possession (between Cote D'Or and Anse Lazio) close to best beaches although not on a "swimming beach" itself. Some good snorkelling in the bay though, morays and turtles. The bay is lovely to look across and great to sit, read and have some sundowners. Staff and owners couldn't have been more friendly and could organise any activities you wanted. Their own car hire was good value with nice new cars. Bus stop close too. Breakfast and dinner can be delivered to your patio. Basic cooking with large portions, they had two chefs, one did beautiful tasty creole fish the other one was a little bit more hit and miss. Rooms higher up have best views. Our kids enjoyed the Giant Land Tortoises in the garden and getting to know Ben the dog. Room decor a little old and basic but clean. All in all very good value for money for the Seychelles!!!

Nous sommes restés près de 2 semaines au Sea View Lodge et nous ne l'avons pas regretté. La nourriture est très bonne (chère, mais comme partout sur l'île). Il y a des bus à proximité. Quand il y a un souci (jour férié, cuistot absent, souci d'horaire, etc.) le personnel trouve toujours une solution et ils sont attentifs, prévenants, sympathiques. Vue de la terrasse sur de splendides couchers de soleil. Tout est très propre. Des kayaks transparents à louer permettent d'admirer les fonds marins des environs. Grand merci à l'équipe pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse, et plus particulièrement à Sonu.
