More about hotels in Seychelles
Choose an island for your Seychelles stay
Mahé and Praslin offer different starting points for Seychelles accommodation. Mahé includes the capital, Victoria, as well as a coastline of bays and beaches. Praslin gives the itinerary another island setting, with forest, coast and smaller localities shaping the stay.
Mahé for a city-and-coast combination
Victoria accommodation is a starting point when the capital itself is part of your plans. Elsewhere on Mahé, hotels, guesthouses and self-catering properties offer different coastal settings.
Choose whether you want the urban setting or more time based around the coast. A resort and a smaller self-catering stay can also give the same island holiday different daily rhythms, with the room layout and meal arrangements forming part of the choice.
Praslin for a separate island stay
Grand Anse Praslin accommodation introduces one part of Praslin. The island's tropical forest and coastal scenery offer a different focus from a stay centred on Victoria. Compare the actual locality rather than assuming that every Praslin property occupies the same part of the coast.
For a holiday from the Philippines that includes both islands, give each its own overnight dates. A villa on a hillside, a property by the shore and an in-town room provide different settings, even within the same island.
