Greatwood Residence at Devonshire

Centrally located and within walking distance to many amenities. Booked with discount thus can't advise if it's value for money at original price.

The staff is helpful. But the rooms are a bit rundown and need a good renovation/clean-up job.

Good location 5mins from Somerset MRT and nearby supermarkets hence. 4* based on price. These rooms are fairly large, with tall ceilings. The equipment is old and there was no sink in my 'kitchen', so you have to wash up in the bathroom sink - not very nice. TV is really only Netflix - no local channels. I'd stay again because of the convenience and value for money. Staff are very friendly. Security isnt very good with no lock on reception front door, but Singapore is pretty safe and I had no concerns. So this is a VFM location, it's not luxurious.

Great location. Convenient to have kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Friendly staff. Easy and fast communication.

The location was really close to the MRT Station (1 block) and mad transportation so easy. Had the best Air Conditioning in Singapore

Great location but quite old and poor facilities in room, for example: no towel rail in bathroom to hang towels after bathing; no clothes rack in laundry to hang clothes after washing; and no toaster, sink, brush or sponge in kitchenette. All the missing items above defeat the purpose of renting a serviced apartment, so you'd be better off in a hotel with room cleaned daily.

This apartment was close to everthing.....from MRT to food and shopping.

The building is called Devonshire Apartments and that is the sign to look for, not Greatwood. The immediate neighbourhood is great with everything you need within a short walk and you're 5 mins walk to the MRT and 10 from Orchard Rd. Property is clean, comfortable and quiet. The room includes a combined washer/dryer, microwave, induction plate and full cutlery and crockery. Bed comfortable. Smart TV connected to DTV box that we never quite worked out how to use so we watched a lot of Peruvian MasterChef (the hotel doesn't provide instructions). Bedroom and bathroom both large. Free Wifi and 24hr reception.

Simple , good for staying not asking luxury. Hot water supplied problem. Unclear instruction as well as usage of TV. Can be improved with more clear detail instruction

Great location A+, washer dryer-fabulous. downside is the following: Tv- few channels and every day promised to fix-never happened Housekeeping 2x a week-Well..... we were there 5 days and conveniently the days for our floor were the days we checked in and out so our room was never cleaned-sounds fishy. When asked about trash they said leave in room. With an existing ant problem not a good idea so we brought to lobby and was told to take it outside to the dumpster. As far as cooking there is a mini fridge and induction hot plate. No sink except the bathroom. Front desk staffed sporadically. Had to leave keys and a note at checkout.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you absolutely need to stay within a budget and need to stay a few nights. I stayed for two weeks and really wish I had a more comfortable place. It's still decent value for the money, but there are much better options for a little bit more money. A few issues I had: -The lighting in the room is terrible. It's impossible to read or do something. It could use a few lamps or standing lights. -Even the "premium" room is tiny. My last place was 400sqft and it felt like double the size of this "300 sqft" room. Felt very cramped in there. The kitchen is impossible to use given that there is a dining table in that little space too. -Hallways are very loud when people are talking or closing their doors. -Gym is basically non existent. Very small and old equipment and it's outside, so it's impossible to workout during the day because of the heat. -Housekeeping/Amenities are very limited. They tell you this in advance so can't complain about it but it's something to consider. The good things: -Staff is available 24/7 -The location is great. Orchard shops are available a short walk away without having to go through the crowds. Very convenient for MRT as well.

I had a pleasant short stay, the property is well maintained and is located in a quiet area. The location puts you within a 5 minute walk of Somerset MRT, supermarkets, restaurants and the high-end shopping on Orchard Road.

Nice, comfortable apartment a very short walk away from the metro (MRT). Groceries are just a short walk away. Couldn't ask for a better location to explore Singapore from. There is an induction hotplate in the units so you can cook up almost anything you'd like.

It was 10 days trip. I should say that location is great just few mins to mrt. Also I wouldn’t recommend to book this apartments if you are taller than 180 cm... beds are quite short, but double size. Additionally, You might hear your neighbors talking. So if you are ok w that it can be a place for you.

Staff were friendly, good location, good communication before we stayed. Twice a week cleaning as advertised, would prefer if I could've scheduled the time. Next time I'll book a balcony room.

設備は少し古いが必要なものが備わっており過ごしやすい。近隣の騒音も事前に知らせていただいていたので、気にならなかった。 MRTとスーパーが近くにあるので困ることは無い。

８泊しました。 つらかったのは、 ①当日になって「チェックしたところ現地支払いになっているけど、クレジットカード使えないよ」という内容の連絡が入ったことです。 ②部屋のNetflixがうまくつながらなかったです。 ③部屋の中に電子レンジや食器類があります。また、電磁調理器（鍋とフライパンも）もありますが、流しがないため、部屋の外にあるcommon Kitchenで洗い物をする必要がありました。 よかった点としては ①ホテルではないので部屋の中に人が入らない。（私が利用した時期はクリスマスも絡んでいたので通常はわかりませんが、火曜、金曜がhouse keepingの日のようです） ②近所に２４時間ストアがあり買い物に困らない。 ③最寄りのsomerset駅まで徒歩５分かからない。 などです。 ミニ海外生活をしたい、と考える方にはおすすめします。リッチな観光を期待している人には向いてない と思います。
