Hotel Indigo SINGAPORE KATONG by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Excellent location. We didn’t get the hotel breakfast as we were told by our friends there are amazing cafes who open early enough for our kind of trip. Fab brunch places, interesting boutiques for souvenirs, lots of Peranakan flavours around. The newly opened Thomson East Coast MRT line nearby brought this location to a whole new level. Will definitely go back. :)

It was close to many good restaurants and it was a 10 min walk to East Coast Park. Very beautiful.

The soundproofing in your hotel is terrible. A - there are polished tile floors B - you give people WOODEN shoes to walk around the room (which bang on the tiles floors) C - I could hear a guest in the next room walking around and RUNNING A BATH AT 3am!!! I had two hours sleep for the whole night!!

Great hotel. It is styled in Peranakan style. The room was spacious and very cosy. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide free carpark for the hotel guests.

Close to the Marine Parade MRT stop and a direct ride to Marina Bay and Orchard. every time itself is a pleasant small neighborhood with small boutiques and some decent restaurants. The photos of the hotel room, as of this writing, is exactly what you get. No special angles or other gimmicks. Yes, the shower stall opens onto your windows which is odd (you must pull down the blinds). A large in-room safe. Refrigerator is small and barely chills. Air-conditioning is adequate, but barely so during the day. Cleaning also adequate, but not stellar. If you avoid the negativity of the staff, it's actually not a bad place to stay taking into consideration its location (both a con and plus). It was slightly annoying to have to walk directly past the front desk each and each time I entered and left and I had nothing to hide. I'm not one of those people who needs a "welcome back" to feel validated.

Love the Peranakan aesthetic of the room. The location is close to Joo Chiat Rd and a five minute walk from the nearest MRT station. The staff are very friendly and super helpful.

We loved our stay, not only is the decor great, its amenities are awesome including the rooftop pool. Its right next to MRT station so its easy to get around and see the sights using the metro.The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpfull. Next time we are in Singapore we will be staying there for sure.

Beautifully designed hotel with lovely thoughtful elements rooted within the traditions of the area. The staff were welcoming friendly and very efficient. We loved out stay and will definitely recommend and come back.

we really enjoyed our stay at Indigo Katong. it was our first time staying in the Katong area, which has changed a lot in last years and offers many nice restaurants, coffee places, yoga studios as well as easy access to the MRT and the East Coast Park. the staff was outstanding facilitating both early check in as well as late check out for us.

From beginning to end staff from front desk to cleaning to restaurant to pool staff were unfailingly courteous, ready to help with any request or address any questions we had. Provided help in getting an emergency credential visit. Changed our room due to difficulty with climate control and provided complementary meal for the issue. Hotel eclectic, and unique in furniture, layout etc. restaurant buffet breakfast tasty and good variety, dinner also good choices, ample and tasty. Each person here was courteous, pleasant ,attentive to every need and also charming. Special thanks to Magesha and front desk night and day staff. We really hope to be back in Singapore and this will be our hotel! G And J room 705 from December 3 to 6 included 2024.

very convenient location, in the middle between the city and the airport. enjoyed the area with many restaurants and shops, as well as closeness to east coast park.

This was a charming boutique hotel in a really cool neighborhood with lots of restaurants and small unique shops nearby. I was upgraded to a room with a bathtub that was adorable and was nice to soak in after running around Singapore all day. The beds were pretty comfortable and the water worked well; the staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that I could hear everything my neighbor was doing while awake. I didn't book the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. In terms of location, the neighborhood is a 10 minute drive to all the tourist areas downtown and about $10 taxi/grab, so it was nice to be away from the craziness and within a reasonable distance to many attractions.
