The hospitality at Hotel Mangart was absolutely phenomenal. The hostesses went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. One hostess accommodated my diet when the dinner menu when I was unable to eat what was being served. Another hostess, Ana S. was exceptional from the beginning of my stay to the end. When I lost my sunglasses in town, she went out of her way to give me a pair of her own which she no longer used. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The mountain views from the hotel are amazing - the photos don't do it justice. Our room was much bigger than expected with plenty of quality freebies (including moisturiser which is always a bonus for us females). Melita on reception was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed seeing her smiling face every time we returned from a trip out. Breakfast was plentiful and the meals in the restaurant had variety and were well priced. Plenty of room for parking and lots of outdoor seating. Can thorough recommend the hotel and we think from looking at other similar hotels in Bovec that this must surely be the best.

Easy quick check in . Fantastic view off of our deck at the back of the hotel Friendly staff The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable They gave us great advice on activities and hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again

The property was in a great location for spending a couple of days exploring the area and taking part in white water rafting. It was a comfortable hotel, quiet and the breakfast was great. A little more information about the local Bovec Day celebrations would have been helpful from the receptionist at check in. We had to do our own research to decipher what the colourful leaflet in Slovenian meant when the receptionist didn’t elaborate for us.

Staff were very helpful and good service in the restaurant. We found the mattress was not that comfortable as it was saggy more like a camp bed and needed replacing.The wall mounted toilet creaks (we are average weight people ). This was room 331 so hopefully other rooms do not have these problems. Apart from those two issues,the room was clean with lovely views of the mountains. Breakfast was fine and so was the meal we had in the restaurant. Very good location in the Soça valley. Bovec itself was a very relaxing small town.

We had a very weird experience with the receptionist when checking in. She kept giving us and her coworkers the weirdest looks that made us feel really uncomfortable. The room was fine though and the location was close to the center. The breakfast definitely left a lot to be desired
