I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was spacious, nice bathroom with tub, 4 minutes walk to bus terminal, 8 minutes walk to central train station. The historical district is 10-15 minute walk. The reception is on a non person elevator floor, but luggage can be placed on it and you meet the luggage on the 1st floor. It has a bar and restaurant adjoining which the bar man was very friendly and diligent in being certain your needs are met. There are massages available but need to book a day in advance, and I believe this is true for the sauna. The size of the property, one would think they could carve out a space for a fitness center. That would be a great addition.

The hotel is nicely located, just across the street from the City Centre, and a short walk to the river promenade. The neighbourhood is quite, clean and safe. The hotel furniture and amenities are quite practical and adequate. The included breakfast is well stocked with good variety. The only question is the charge of 10 Euro for parking your car there, while there are ample of street parking right next to the hotel.

This hotel badly needs serious upgrading! the lobby to level 1 lift is not working, so those with heavy luggage pls pay notice! the shower is very small less than 1sqm! and the plumbing is choking! no tissue paper is provided , i was asked by the reception to use toilet paper instead!there is no air conditioner control button nor working ,upon reporting the problem, I was asked by the unfriendly receptionist to open the window in the winter month to allow air circulation in the hot stuffy room!the window does not have the safety chain, and I am on the 1st floor, anybody could have climb inside the room if I leave the window open! breakfast is average, the surroundings is very quiet nad dark after 4pm, town square is about 1km walk . very unlike any Mercure Hotel I stayed in the past, I recommend the Headquarter send someone down thee for quality control and checking!
