So many little touches like chocolates on the pillow and the turn down service. Couldn’t be more helpful for anything we needed! Room was lush had a massive bathroom and massive bed too. Breakfast was great and bar staff also lovely.

Our first time at La Fontaine and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded expectation.
The staff were excellent. Very attentive and interested in all their guests. The breakfasts offered a great choice and were very good. The. Bedroom was very comfortable, albeit an extractor fan in the bathroom would be a good addition. The communal areas were welcoming and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The friendly staff helped make this a spectacular stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the town and wineries. The location was excellent and the beds were great. We didn't try it, but we were told one of the swimming pools was bathtub warm.

A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.
