Best choice for couples. Spacious room (all rooms overlooking the beach). Everything was working and the staff was super friendly.
If you want to avoid crowds on the beach and in the hotel, you must book North Star.
Taxi is available and the trip to Umhlanga takes less than 6 minutes.

Really loved this place. Unique architecture. Beautifully decorated, with a great sense of detail. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly (shoutout to Abel and Shirley). The owners helped us with a recommendation of a doctor. The location at the beach is great. The pool is beautiful. Views of the ocean from all rooms. We will be back!

The place is well located right by the beach and with gorgeous views, but if you’re looking for a relaxing place, this is not the right spot. There were loud and crowded events the entire weekend I was there, and the hotel is quite small, so it was impossible to escape the rowdiness and to enjoy any privacy.
