Sunset Decks

Pleasant stay. Lawrence certainly has the gift of hospitality.

Sunset Decks is one of those gems that you are lucky to find. Super easy to get to from the airport (25 mins outside traffic), amazing beach within a short (10 minute) walk, a private pool, just everything you could want if you are this side of Cape Town. This is my new home when I visit Cape Town.

I have yet to stay in any institution where the owners/hosts were so engaging as at Sunset Decks. The family could not do enough to make guests feel at home and as comfortable as possible. I had have challenges with a particular bad WiFi spot in my room, albeit that the hosts immediately attended to it. My bed was also warn which was changed immediately when I highlighted the issue. Thanks for your hospitality.

Very friendly and attentive host. Showed us their beautiful rooftop deck with 360 degree views of Cape Town and a stunning picture postcard view of Table Mountain.

Very nice B&b. The room had. A lot space and small patio outside. Towels could have been better shape. Very friendly people and nice breakfast. Will surely come back here

We spend 3 nights at Sunset Decks and would like to recommend this place. Everything was great and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Only the pool wasn’t that good, so if you want to take a swim, we recommend that you go down to the beach nearby. There is a supermarket and a great restaurant called Fancy Franks in walking distance. We went there a couple of times. We had booked some tourist attractions from home which they gladly helped us with, such as transportation (we felt safe all the time). The person who drove us around is called Musha and is very friendly. The man who helped us a lot at the hotel is called Lawrence. I got his WhatsApp and thereby we were in contact all the time. If we are going to Cape Town again, we would gladly stay there once more.

Habe diese Unterkunft aufgrund der guten Bewertungen gewählt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Noch nie sind wir so herzlich aufgenommen worden. Der Service und das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Der Inhaber hat immer wieder Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Sogar unsere Wäsche wurde gewaschen. Wir waren begeistert. Sollten wir nochmal nach Kapstadt fliegen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Pension wählen.

Wir hatten ursprünglich eine andere Unterkunft über Expedia gebucht, die allerdings nicht auffindbar war (ziemlich mysteriös). Nach etwas hin und her mit Expedia fanden wir in den Sunset Deks Unterkunft. Im nachhinein ein echter Glücksfall.

Wir fühlten uns im Sunset Decks rundum wohl. Genossen die gemütlichen, interessanten und unterhaltsamen Stunden mit June und Lance. Ebenso die vielen, hilfreichen Tipps. In 5 Minuten ist man am Strand. Auch gute Restaurants sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.
