AC Hotel Guadalajara by Marriott, Spain

Room was clean and quiet. Easy walk to restaurants and sites.

The hotel provides a fridge and kettle. The hotel is just yards away from several bus routes that will take you to the Renfe train station, sightseeing and shopping. It is about 500 meters to the Palacio del Infantado and a bit further the Cathedral, parks and historic area. The museum of Guadajara is not to be missed. AC hotel is a good base for visiting Siguenza and Alcala de Henares via train.

Nice, safe area. Hotel and staff are great. Food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. Parking was free and easy.

No ac, only heating. 27 degrees out and the whole building had to be set to “cool” as it was set to hot. Rooms were unbearably hot.

Excellent hotel, near the most important touristic spots in Guadalajara.

Alles sehr schön. Tolles Hotel. Das einzige was mir hier nicht gefällt ist, dass der Gast keine Toiletten- Bürste im WC erhält. Jedes Mal, wenn ich hier buche muss ich um eine Toilettenbürste bitten. So etwas kenne ich nur aus USA. Wir sind aber in Europa. Ich empfinde es als Menschenverachtend und gegenüber den Reinigungskräfte eine Verletzung ihrer Würde wenn diese diese die * des Gastes weg kratzen müssen. Ich finde als Gast kann man es selbst tun. Es ist unmöglich. Die Reiniigungskräfte tun mir sehr leid. Wer hat sich dass bloss ausgedacht. Der sollte sich selbst hinstellen und die **der Gäste weg putzen. Mal schauen wie er sich fühlt. Obwohl das Hotel super ist, nur ein Stern. Wegen dieser Angelegenheit. Sehr schade.

Clean as expected but air conditioning non existent hence too hot to sleep easily. Staff excellent though. Shame.

Clean, quiet, comfortable

The rooms were very clean and modern. The location was very convenient to the conference that I attended. There were a limited number of restaurants near the hotel, but there was a super market next door which was nice.

Excellent place, fantastic people. A great place and ideal location to get to all the wonderful places in Guadalajara!!

It is a nice clean hotel. Rooms a little dark and not so modern but good internet and comfortable bed.

Good clean quiet hotel. good breakfast choice of fruits juice, cereals cakes and coffee.

Would be excellent if they'd update their AC system which isnt even as good as a proper fan. The staff could not have been nicer when i asked for a room change thinking the AC was broken in the first room. Also that room was at street level so being alone and opening the window was awkward. But the second room was no better and opening the window provided little airflow so i slid the bed under the window, opened the drapes, slept really poorly and woke with the sun. Shame because its spotless, good sized rooms, modern, has a really nice staff and well located. But Marriott should be a bit ashamed. I booked a US brand hotel for my last night specifically so I'd know what to expect and sleep well on the night before a long drive. Disappointing. If you dont need AC or its winter youll like the place though.
