No correspondía a las imágenes vistas al momento de contratar. Accedíamos a la habitación por una escalera intransitable y peligrosa. Figuraba como hotel y no lo era.

Very hard to find this place! Paid $75euro to get here! But location is perfect! Bed was like sleeping on wood. Kitchen amenities were fine. Building was old and interesting. It's very noisy at night so bring ear plugs.Great aircon . I would definitely not stay here again!

The issue was with check in. I blame Hotels . Com. The insructions were wrong. It was saying to go to soe other hotel after 2pm which will assist with check in. We arrived at 8pm . And found locked door. When we checked the insruction , it said to go to another place (20 min walk) for check in. When I got to the place it was closed for renovations for last 3 days. Thanks for the neigboring business which provided me with wifi and assisted to call the number mentioned for the hotel, I was able to call an the lady told me that she will return a call. The call was returned in a half hour -15 min and they explained that we just need to push a button on the appatment building enterance and do electronic check in inside. I am just wondering why we did no get the instruction from the property by e-mail or on Hotels.com app. I lost 1.5 hour of my time and had a stress which was useless

Hard for taxi to drop off as in an ally. Contact number is incorrect so very difficult to contact for support.

No transportation on streets you had to walk a couple of streets to get a taxi made it hard when you have luggage

This place was not even close to expectations. I have no idea where the photo they took came from, but this place was not even close to the photos. I understand that the location was great and that it's located in the Gothic Quarter, but it was like it wasn't even updated from that century. There is daily cleaning service, we had to remove the garbage ourselves daily. New towels were not provided unless we asked (assuming we could catch the cleaning lady that only cleans units that vacate that day). The place itself is in a very sketchy alley. The walls are so thin, we can hear every neighbor that came in at all hours of the night and all the random screaming was beyond unnerving. Considering we stayed at different places all over Italy for 3 weeks, this was the most expensive and least comfortable place we stayed the entire time.

The checkin instructions said we could check in at a different property early. When we arrived at the other location, they said they did not do business with our hotel. That was confusing and wasted our time and cost me an additional taxi. After we arrived at the actual hotel, checking in with was very easy, and the accommodations were very nice. It would have been nice to have coffee with the coffee maker. Pleas leave a few pods for the guests.

No recomendable para familias. En el mensaje de check in indicaba q luego d elas 14.30 habia q ir a otra propiedad al pedir elnacceso, la cual quedaba como a 25 minutos caminando. Al llegar nos dicen q ya no trabajan con ellos. Regresamos y en el acceso automático nos indican q no habia nada pagado, aún cuando todo estaba pagado en hotels.com. Ennla necesidad de habitación pgamos nuevamente, auqnue despues nos dicen q si estaba pagado y luego de varios intentos df comunicación y dificultad de comunicación logramos q no anularan el cobro. Peronpasamos dos días sin es disponibilidad en la tarjeta. Luego el edificio muy viejo, la habitación no muy limpia y básicamente si utencilios. La puerta del edificio da a un callejon q es lanparte trasera de donde algunos comercios y restaurantes tiran su basur.

Good central location, bathroom had a broken toilet seat, a bit of mold in the shower. The bed in the living room was just a futon, not very comfortable.

We really liked the rooms, so quaint. You could easily walk to many stores and restaurants. You could also walk to Catedral de la Santa Creu (cathedral). It is a little hard to find because there are multiple small alley ways. Possibly add the name of the coffee shop and tattoo shop near by for assistance. Also, we had to call to get our booking number to check in via the kiosk. It was not on our Expedia confirmation, possibly that can be updated. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

There is no onsite person. The instruction stated to go to Hotel Ciutat de Barcelona if you arrive outside of the time frame. We went & was told that they do not cover Ciutat Vella anymore about 6 months ago.

This property is in an excellent location and the rooms are clean although a quite unusual. Some do not have windows to the outside. We had five rooms for two nights and would have had an excellent stay except for the following. The morning after we checked in a staff member entered our room unannounced and uninvited. He awoke my niece, who was asleep and alone in the apartment. He demanded payment for what we had already paid for, telling her that if she did not immediately pay she would have to leave the room. He then took her cell phone and disappeared down the hallway. You can imagine her fright and concern to have a man come into her room, wake her up, take her phone, and demand money. I ended up leaving the tour of Parc Guell that I had arranged with the rest of my family to meet personally with the staff member and solve the problem. He insisted that I make the additional payment or we would have to leave. He continued to insist even after I called the bank and confirmed that the payment had been taken. The following day the duplicate payment was refunded with an apology. But the fright caused to my niece, not to mention the disappointment at missing the tour of Parc Guell tour, are entirely inexcusable. I understand that the individual involved is no longer in the employ of Apartments Ciutat Vella. I also understand that Apartments Ciutat Vella is no longer affiliated with Hotel Ciutat de Barcelona as mentioned in the check-in instructions.

Es muy difícil de identificar ya que no hay ningún rotuló afuera solo te indican color de la puerta la calle es un poco solitaria el check in es un dolor de cabeza es una maquina no tienes nadie te reciba y llenas toda la información tu de todos los que se quedan para familia con menores no lo recomenderia

Closed to metro stations and nearby stores and churches

The property offers nothing advertised on Expedia. It is a dangerous laneway with graffiti, inability to contact owners. I sought refund and relocation from Expedia. It’s disgusting and dangerous. Terrible

The place is clean and the guy at the recepción is super kind and helpful; however the apartment is not great and the street where it’s located is definitely not the best one. Location is good, but I wouldn’t go back with my kids.
