Couldn't have been more happier with my choice of hotel in Seville. Will always come back here again. First the location - ideally positioned and all of the city's main attractions are within walking distance. We even walked it to the Plaza de España. In addition a gentle 10 minute walk gets you to the Plaza de Armas bus station from where you can get the airport bus. Guadalquivir river is only 5 mins walking distance where you can enjoy scenic walks/jogs or use the hotel's bikes to cycle along the paths. The only time we took a taxi was to get us to the Santa Justa railway station for a day trip to Cordoba. Secondly, the breakfast. Thoughtfully prepared and immaculately presented. Assortment of fruits, salads, cheeses, pastries and bread. The hot dishes variety was limited but that was no issue to us at all. The atmosphere at breakfast was great too. No hustle and bustle you get in some of the busier chain hotels. Just a serene and relaxing environment to start your day. Third the coffee corner at the hotel lobby - just a lovely touch. Complimentary coffee and snacks available all day. Ideal when you want a quick recharge back at the hotel before setting out again. Fourth - the room. We chose the premium room to give us more space and were very happy with our decision. Beds were super comfortable, room very clean. The bathroom was fine with complimentary toiletries provided. However, there was a slight issue as the basin had a leak. It didn't cause us a problem though.

Location, the staff and breakfast buffet was great!! Very disappointed the A/C was shut-off in the whole building and the heater was the only option. It was warm and inconvenient and uncomfortable to sleep. If they are going to offer A/C they need to offer it.

The room was great, spacious, high ceilings, well lighted and immaculate. The hotel has great amenities but their best is the Poet Cafe. Tere will take care of you in the Cafe as if you were family, she was one of the highlights of our stay. The reception staff took care of us beyond their duties, accommodating our needs for an extra night. We are looking forward to returning to unique Sevilla and staying with our Becquer Hotel friends again.

Do not hesitate to book this hotel because Linda and I thought it was one of the best we have ever stayed. Quite frankly there is nothing negative to say. The room, the service and the breakfast were over the top. It is also located right in the heart of many of the attractions and restaurants all within walking distance.

My initial reaction to the hotel was very positive as it had a large glass frontage part of which was opened up to extend the restaurant area on to the street where they served drinks, tapas etc. I did not book breakfast as I considered it rather expensive and encouraged one to eat as much as possible to get your money's worth. The staff in the bar and at reception were very helpful and spoke good English and were happy to explain the various dishes. The margaritas were very enjoyable! The room was clean with plenty of room for bags, hanging space and drawers and the gifts in the room were generous and useful. They provided several USB & USBC sockets. The pool area on the roof was fine for November but I think that it would get very crowded in summer and the photograph of the pool gives an extremely false impression of the size of the pool. If you catch a bus from the airport, for about €6, and get off at the penultimate stop it drops you about 50 yds from the hotel. I would definitely consider returning to this hotel.
