The hotel was excellent. Small with charm. Our room was comfortable with a lovely street view. Loved the comfort of the bed and linens. Bathroom shampoo, soap, and body lotion, Argan Meadow, were wonderful. We were exploring Madrid with another couple and never ate breakfast or ate from the bar, though the thought to do so was there but we just never got to it.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Catalonia Puerta del Sol! The reception people were always kind and friendly. We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location of the hotel too, everything was walkable from the hotel. We especially liked the bartender, Belen, in the hotel bar. She was so fun and sweet! Do yourself a favor and book your stay asap!

Many Catalonia hotels on same road, was dropped at wrong hotel, walking in Madrid heat. Welcome here and front desk team were pleasant. Room bed wasn’t the most comfortable and bathroom is modern but please lubricate the door!, noisy to open and close rm 209. Had the Street view with good sound proofing. Does it get the come back?, no, many options available, does it get the nice hotel, yea.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and informative. They were always ready to help us with our many questions. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space for two. For an additional fee, we enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The property was located within walking distance of the very lively Puerta Del Sol square with lots of dining and shopping options. The Metro stops are also within walking distance. We had a good stay and would go back.
