Amazing Staff, the environment was so friendly. Met a lot of cool people relaxing on the rooftop lounging area. Even though i was in an 8 person dorm it felt so incredibly private and i had not a single problem sleeping during my entire stay.

✨ Last-minute birthday trip? Not ideal timing—La Feria was in full swing in Málaga that weekend. But sometimes the best experiences come from the least expected plans. It was my first time staying in such facilities, and yes, it required a few adaptations. But what it offered in return was something rare: spontaneous joy, unexpected connections, and the kind of laughter that begins with a simple “hello” and a smile from a stranger who no longer feels like one. None of it would’ve been possible without the extraordinary team at COEO Herman Ruiz. Their kindness, flexibility, and warmth turned a logistical compromise into a memory I now treasure. Nice modern hostel with nice hot showers and very comfortable beds. Very convenient to have the cafe/bar attached to the premises. Only let down is if you want to store your luggage for a few hours after your stay there is a charge

Right in the centre so perfect location to get back from nightlife but it’s a bit of a walk to the beach (15-20mins) The pod room and shared bathroom was very clean considering the amount of people who share it . Room bed was very comfy and room stayed cool . the price for 4 nights was well worth it. £200 cheaper than a normal apartment . Cons - The pool looked dirty and not big enough for the amount of people . No mention of changing towels or bed sheets. No food or drink allowed in the rooms

The hostel was amazing. I stayed in the lower pod and it didn't feel claustrophobic. The shared bathroom facilities were clean throughout a day. The shower gel smelled great. The roof terrace and the swimming pool are small but enough to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen has a fridge, kettle and a microwave to prepare simple meals. The reception area is very nice with comfortable armchairs. The restaurant is connected with the hostel. I only had there matcha latte and it was excellent.

I had an amazing stay at COEO! The place was super clean, the staff was friendly, and I loved the setup of the pods—perfect for solo travelers like me. I stayed in a single pod and still had my privacy. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Málaga, and it was very affordable. I met a few great people and had some lovely conversations on my last day. I would absolutely recommend this hostel and will definitely stay here again when I return!
