What Guests Say About Their Stay

What a wonderful spot! Surrounded by nature, the building backs up to forest. I fell asleep to the sounds of the stream and birds singing. The food was phenomenal, and the proprietor is so very kind. This is a very small establishment cooking everything to order. Dinner service was a tad slow but the environment was so wonderful and the food so good I couldn’t complain at all. The room was small but well appointed. Memory pillows and comforters as well as a private bath. The common area was clean and well maintained. If coming from the Camino, I highly recommend setting up transportation prior to your arrival in Hospital de Bruma. It is a genuine hamlet…so no taxis waiting for passengers. The proprietor will send you driver contact info if you ask. She will also help you arrange a taxi from the property back to the Camino trail without hesitation.

This was such a nice place to stay for a night on the Camino. The staff was lovely and attentive, dinner was delicious. Rooms are small but comfortable, the only draw back is that there is no soundproofing so you are pretty much party to conversation in adjacent rooms. We were too exhausted to care. I highly recommend staying here!

As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!

This was a little of the path of the cameno, but worth the night stay. The group dining hall was homely and nice. The food was excellent, with care in preparation and in servicing the pilgrims. This was a very relaxing setting in a woodsy camp-like environment. In really made me relax and enjoy another wonderful place alone the walk.

I was walking along the English Way. Near Bruma at the end of the day, I could't find a Hotel. So I tried this one (10 mins from the Way via Taxi). It was cozy and clean. Good enough for me. I made the last minute reservation, so the record was not updated at the hotel. But the staff was very kind and welcome me. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was a great stay for me, one night off the Camino. It was about 3km off the Camino path itself. One of those was a pretty major road, so I walked in a ditch. The place was amazing though. Beautiful, quite, and with a nice history walk behind it. The staff is friendly and the food is great.

Stay: impeccable, comfortable, well-equipped room, you sleep lulled to the sound of the river and wake up to the chirping of birds. Idyllic. It has a common space with a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, utensils, coffee machine and everything you need in case you want to cook on your own. And they also have their own restaurant. Attention: unbeatable, Rocío is super friendly, she makes you feel at home and never makes you leave. Food: abundant, homemade, delicious, for all tastes and with an excellent price. Place in general: BEAUTIFUL, you have a muiño next door (water mill) with a very nice path to walk or just sit and enjoy nature. Recommended.

Very warm welcome though I arrived 1 hour outside the regular opening times in the night. Fantastic bed. Nice and calm surrounding as located in the middle of a forest. Very charming hosts. Also nice little restaurant with bar run by the hosts themselves. Small menu, but changing every day with very moderate prices, huge portions and very good taste. Must be more fantastic in summer, when the barbecue area is open.
