Crisol de Meson del Cid hand amazing views of the Cathedral of Burgos. It also had beautiful, spacious rooms which were spotless and attentive, helpful staff. The breakfast was filling and varied. It was within walking distance of many attractions, cafe's , restaurants, and shopping.

The staff was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing.

Hotel is in an excellent location very close to the cathedral. Bells were NOT chiming on the hour so sleep was not interupted. This is an “older” hotel with charm and character, with easy walking to cafes, bars, restaurants, river, Old Town and El Cid statue. Room was a good size with view towards cathedral and adjacent square. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of items, which should suit most guests. The only downside was that taxis cannot pull up direcectly outside the reception. The access road is on a slightly higher level with a few steps down to the entrance. This may be an issue for some elderly guests or those with a lot of luggage. In summary, a good hotel in a good location, recommended.

The hotel is just beautiful with an amazing view of the Cathedral of Burgos. The surrounding area is lovely and very walkable to the city’s attractions and to the bus station if you arrive by bus. Beware - there are a lot of stairs to climb if you choose to walk to the hotel.

Fantastic place to stay, right in the middle of all the sites. Parking costs but well worth it as otherwise you may struggle. Breakfast was buffet and lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town.

We had such a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing visit. The check-in process was smooth and effortless, and we felt taken care of right away. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with all the little details that make a big difference—comfortable bedding, modern amenities, and a calming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. Whether it was enjoying the pool, grabbing a bite at the on-site restaurant, or simply relaxing in the lounge areas, everything felt well-maintained and inviting. The location was another highlight—convenient to local attractions, dining, and transportation, yet quiet enough to feel like a peaceful getaway. What truly stood out, though, was the level of service. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warm hospitality really made us feel at home. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable stay.

Everything was as expected EXCEPT the parking lot was full so parking was not actually available near the property. (15 min walk away). If visiting again I would reserve a parking spot. This was a last minute selection and overall i was happy with it. It was clean and the employees were helpful and polite.

Amazing location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and cleaned daily. Breakfast was basic but enough to get you going for the day. We had a fabulous stay.

Fantastic views and service. It started raining one afternoon and the staff kindly offered umbrellas for multiple groups of guests that were going out. It was a great stay.

No a/c in room we spoke with front desk and they said that they have problems with the AC and give us a portable fan. The night was hot.

Love the location and personal attention during our stay…. Nothing beats the location and view from the hotel
