I had a great stay at the Grums Hotel in Barcelona. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One feature I especially appreciated was the air conditioning, which can be surprisingly difficult to find in some European hotels and made the stay much more enjoyable during warmer weather. The location was excellent—close to the Gothic Quarter and within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, and many of Barcelona's main attractions. It offered the perfect balance of convenience: close enough to walk everywhere, yet just far enough from the busiest tourist areas to provide a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Grums Hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona who wants to be within walking distance of the city's highlights without being right in the middle of the crowds and noise.

Excellent!! The room is large and modern. Plenty of space to store clothing. Had a safe which is always practical. The free breakfast exceeded our expectations. Best selection and quality we have ever experienced.

Breakfast was great, room not cleaned properly. Staff extremely nice and helpfull, perfect location to walk and take public transportation everywhere. Less then 45mins to the airport by public transportation. Super easy. 20 mins by taxi

I would NOT recommend this hotel. Stayed for one night. There were ANTS in the room on the floor and the bed, resulting in NO sleep for the night. The ants feasted on something left in the corner on the floor which speaks to the cleanliness of the room. Woke up to ants on cheek and sheets. Paid for one night of rest was was kept awake by ants. A VERY unpleasant stay. Not a 4 star property. The bathroom door was also broken. The carpets on the hallway need a good shampoo. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

The people were very helpful and polite. The hotel is well located. It offers good quality service. But the maintenance leaves a little to be desired. And unfortunately, a place with maintenance below expectations can seem to have cleaning problems. Which didn't seem to be the case to me.

The room was clean but the hallways looked worn and dirty. We tried to check in early as we got in a few hours early they were nice enough to hold our luggage while we went out but tried to hit us up for early check fees of 40 Euros even 5 minutes before actual check in. I would stay away from this place and the neighborhood is not that great. Had I known what the area was like I would have gladly spent a few bucks more to stay in a nicer area.
