The place is in the heart of the city. The SOL station is around the corner. Area full of shops, bars, restaurants and night life. Staff was very pleasant. I got the single room with pvt bath, hot water all the time. The price was good, compared to any place in the area. Can't complain.

Worst place to stay at in Madrid. No amenities at all. Run down room with poor furtinure and awful small and uncomfortable bathroom. But the worst part was having the room full of bedbugs. Avoid at all cost.

Excellent location, budget friendly with a small but efficient elevator. The room was small with a very cramped toilet and shower.

This property is not as good as it looks. Their profile on Hotels.com shows big well-lit rooms, and comfortable beds. However, I was given a room in the corner of the building, around 5 m² with no window, at all. Picture that! And when I asked for a different room, I was told that they were fully booked. I would not go back there, certainly not for the conditions and the nightly rate.

The Hostel is in very poor condition. The balconies doors do not close. There is a 1 inch gap. You can hear the noise from outside and the cold air coming in. On a rainy cold day there was no heating. The towels old and overused. We are frequent travelers around the world and we never saw towels like this ones. We stayed three days and one of the three days the staff did not clean the room at all. The bathroom is tiny, in bad condition with mold, cracks in the tiles, no lamp just a lightbulb, feels like adapted by non professional Plumbers. Feels like the people running this hostel only think how to get money from customers but do not maintain the premises in a good livable condition. We do NOT recommend this place to anybody.

Excellent location, close to everything you need, metro, market, center, shopping. You could walk to many places. Room is on the smaller side but very clean.

Awesome location! Right steps from Puerta del Sol. The place is a little old so we had a few issues with the Air Conditioning and such but the staff made sure that they were available 24/7 and took care of our requests. I would definitely stay there again!

Good location although a bit scary at night. I booked a single room and it was tiny. Had trouble opening and closing the door if I was in the room with my bag. Room was internal so got very hot, but a small fan was provided which made it bearable. However the staff were very nice and extremely helpful with information & luggage storage.

Our stay at this location was great. Our room had a bathroom, very clean great water pressure and temperature, it is worth paying extra for your own bathroom if that is what you desire. There was always staff around, cleaning or greeting very welcoming and open to all tourists questions and request. The Hotel was 2 blocks away from the metro and a very busy plaza with great food, restaurants and shops. Location is great to walk to various squares/plazas.

I was greeted by a woman and a man, they were both VERY sweet. I think the man was getting trained in to work, he did a great job and was so kind. This hostel is located right in the center, next to most tourists places like plaza del sol , plaza mayor and san miguel market. it's the perfect hostel to experiment madrid in. i recommend this a lto
