We needed a place to stay for two weeks, and the apartment was adequate. The kitchen is tiny--so small that the dishes are stored in the great room. Cooking pots and pans were only just enough for us, but we chose to fix most of our own meals. We had our own car. Without it, staying here would have been difficult. We appreciate the smoke-free room. Overall, for a 3 star place, this was an excellent choice.

A clean, VERY BASIC apartment. Expedia says property comes with “Private spa tub - unwind in your own luxurious private space”. WOW, THAT WAS AN OVERSTATEMENT! Just a bathtub with jets that didn’t work and then the plumbing leaked, flooding the cold bathroom floor. (They let us clean it up and didn’t offer us a different room) :-( Doesn’t have a smart TV so no Netflix or YouTube. Noisy heating system, hard bed.. Other than that, the unit was clean, spacious enough and had a kitchen & washing machine so the value was pretty good if you are looking for basic accommodation.

The hotel communal areas were clean. The apartment bedroom and bathroom were clean, although there was the common bad odour in the bathroom. The bedroom was very comfortable. The outside balcony was spacious and had nice patio chairs and table. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cutlery and crockery. There was no tea, coffee or bathroom products. The dining table and cabinets were good although the dark wood made the interior feel dark. The tv was great with a good selection of channels. The settee and sofa were in a poor condition. The location is in a residential area up a hill away from the centre which is just about walkable. A supermarket and Indian restaurant are at the bottom of the hill about 10 minutes walk.

The apartment was very nice.. But there were some electrical problems. The heating worked ok for the beginning of the stay but the 24 hours could no get it to work. The biggest problem was the fridge..the thermostat seemed to be stuck on very cold so all the food Froze in the main compartment..Ruined E 80 of food.. Needs a new Refrigerator. it looked very old..

We have just enjoyed 7 nights at this hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday. The staff were friendly, the hotel very clean and the room and balcony were a good size. We had room 124 which had good views with some distant sea views between the new villas being built. Whilst not affecting us please note there are a couple of discrepancies in the Hotels.com description. It states that evening meals are available but this is currently not the case. It also states that rooms are cleaned daily but it is in fact once a week in the middle of your stay. There is a limited supply of food essentials for sale in the hotel including some microwave meals. There is a good selection of restaurants available in the port area of La Duquesa about a 30 minute walk downhill. The walk back up the hill afterwards helps burn off some of the calories! The nearest supermarket is a 20 minute walk downhill en-route to the port. Unless you are prepared for a lot of walking you will either need your own transport or rely on local taxis if staying here.

We were generally disappointed with our stay. The apartment facilities mentioned in your details are not accurate. Your details state all apartments have dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob, and microwave . The first apartment we were given didn’t have a dishwasher, when we asked reception they said no they don’t all have them, but they offered to move us to one that did, so we agreed, but the new one didn’t have an oven, just a pathetic two ring electric hob ! Also your details mention daily housekeeping, what a joke, they only came once a week to change bedding and towels, no cleaning done whatsoever during our two week stay. There is a construction site opposite the hotel now which our apartment faced, which meant we had continual dust on the balcony and in the apartment. Had to ask reception twice for toilet rolls. Beware that sea view apartments now face a construction site.

The facilities were very cold. The floors were cold. The heaters didn’t work. Some heater remotes were missing. There was very little hot water. The walls were thin and could hear the neighbors. It is also way out of the way of town.
