I think there were maybe 6 rooms total. It was a very cool set of rooms in a castle. Wouldn’t be appropriate for people with physical disabilities or the very old because bedroom was upstairs and bathroom downstairs. We loved the unique style.

It was a unique experience staying in a refurbished castle. Being that it was chilly outside, it was nice to have a nice cozy room to in which to relax. We were a little disappointed that the main dining room was closed due to heating issues, but we enjoyed a tasty meal if Spanish specialties in the bar area.

The place it's really nice and the rooms as well, nicely equipped and big. The only negative issue was that you could hear absolutely everything from the nearby room. Breakfast was a bit meager (one slice of bread with ham and tomatoes or with butter and marmalade), a small glass of orange juice, and one coffee.

I would think in the summer months parking might not be as easy. It wasn't obvious how to get into the Hotel I would think it more obvious in summer months as doors would be open?

very reasonably priced and extremely spacious room with sitting room. Nice and quiet so got a good nights sleep. Manzanares is an attractive village for an evening stroll and a good stop off if driving across Spain as only five minutes south of the main motorway less hassle than driving into Ciudad Real

Amazing 13th century castle near the centre of the city. Bit difficult to find the main door but, once in, authentic furniture and good reception. Tapas bar and full restaurant by the main reception. They only have a few rooms. Ours was double level with the bedroom upstairs and sitting room and bathroom at entry level. Easy walk to main square and we found good free car park nearby. Breakfast was good.
