The hotel is really near to the main train station and arrival from airport is easy. Easily located. The staff that check us in was very nice. We needed hot water to make coffee and microwave to cook the instant noodle, which he helped us with. Room was great too. To get to the historic site, can use bus or take a taxi, which cost us about 4-5 Euros. Breakfast was great too. Glad to see there is eggs and sausages prepared, which was not served in our previous hotel before Malaga.

Don Paco is centrally located to the bus and train stations, shopping malls, the paseo and a wide variety of restaurant choices. The rooms are small, but comfortable, clean with crisp towels and linens. And a surprisingly comfortable pillow (which I NEVER find, even in high-end in hotels). The rain shower head was lovely! Though basic, the hotel is well cared for and very tidy -- lobby, elevator, stairway and the rooms all clean, no garbage laying about, no scuffs on the walls. The check in was easy and front desk staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend Hotel Don Paco if you're looking for a basic place to stay when visiting Malaga, without having to spend a lot of money. My room (#103) had a window that faced the interior 'garden' and was fairly close to the elevator, but I didn't hear a lot of noise except a little from the room next door when that person showered, not unlike what I hear in any other hotels. I will stay here again when I come back to Malaga.

I asked for help with the air conditioning in Spanish, the clerk wasn't helpful and although he told me he would come to my room to show me how to make it work he never came. I was not impressed.

It was a lovely room internally. Not much natural light which wasn’t a problem for 1 night. Area felt a little unsafe for us at night. The walls are thin and you can hear noises from outside the room, thankfully there were no late night returns that woke me up. Tea and coffee facilities would have be a bonus. TV reception was poor on all but 2 stations.

The AC unit was effective & I didn't need to have it on for too long. The shower room though small was modern. I loved being able to open the bedroom window. Although my room (201) was beside the lift, it wasn't noisy. Francisco at reception was lovely, helpful & kind.Maria Zambrano train station is only a few mins walk & the bus station a few mins extra. This is a most convenient place to stay if needed these public transport facilities.

Central hotel but very noisy as all the rooms are built around a terrace. You can hear doors opening and closing on the ground floor from the top floor. If its rains as it did when we stayed it echos around the hotel. Rooms are small

Staff very helpful allowing early check-in and bag storage after checkout with no charge. I left something in the room, which was attached to my bag when I came to retrieve it from storage. My room only had a window facing into the enclosed atrium, so no traffic noise, though people were walking past the window. Clean and effective air conditioning.
