Hotel Europa

Staff were very helpful. The only bad thing was the breakfast — it was a disaster. There wasn’t a single vegetable, the cereals were among the worst I’ve had, and you’d think porridge would be available everywhere… but not here. Apart from this, the time spent there was okay, thanks to the staff.

Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms need updating. Broken light switch, broken chair on the balcony and fridge was not working. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice.

Our booking was lost and it took sometime for us to get checked in . Partly to do with Hotels.com using The Expedia as our booking agent. The aircon worked well which gave this room an extra star.The pool was closed . 31 degrees atm so could have done with a dip. The Breakfast had limited choice as I expected so this is not is not reflected in my review. The coffee Barista still A+.The room dated . Powerful shower that’s the second bonus star. Lift dates and clunky. Staff spoke fluent Spanish and Spanglish. The booking wasn’t particularly cheap and the location is awful right by a busy A road.

Although the hotel is very dated and very basic, it was excellent value for money. Expect what you pay for. Rooms are clean. Pool is very small and limited space to sunbathe but ok for a cool down. Breakfast is basic - croissants, few meats, yogurts, fruit bottled water & orange, coffee - not bad at all. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is cheap. Free large car park and a short walk to supermarkets, McDonald’s and the town. Main downfall is that it is situated on a busy road with no footpath - not ideal but ok . Overall quite impressed and would return!

The staff are lovely at the hotel and very helpful. The road outside is VERY noisy but they moved me to a quieter room.

Better than expected for price. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Free parking. Out of center but still close to restaurants and bars. North of main area. Worth the price.

The furniture, room, and bathroom conditions and cleanliness are poor. We chose this hotel only for sleep and take a shower, but even only for this purpose I do not think we will come back. The staff is friendly and very professional, the breakfast is ok, you have different options to choose. There is plenty space for parking.

Very rundown and scruffy hotel, poor cleanliness, smoke alarm hanging off ceiling, dirty toilet on arrival.

The only good thing was the staff we can not recommend anything else. They have our sympathy. Our 3 day of rest turned into a 3 day trip about to find a comfortable seat & restaurant. We were the only occupants & no wonder nothing like the pictures on Hotels.com.

I search online for an affordable hotel in this area, and by the pictures, I booked for 3 days. When I arrived , the receptionist had trouble finding my reservation , and even mentioned that she don't like bookings through Expedia because they are hiding in her system and is dificult to find. I booked for me and my 2 kids. The room was very small, beds need to be update, bed sheets with holes, stained even that were clean. Bathroom had a toilette and a Bidet place in front of each other leaving no legroom , nonsense. The curtains on the shower so thin and keep getting out of place. Could use a heavy duty one. On a good side, it had AC working ( noise one) , the TV remote was a universal one and sometimes didn't work. I was in a room with an horrible view , the back of the hotel looked like a dumpster. Breakfast was ok, not too many options and small portions. I saw they had a pool and playground for kids, I didnt use it, but saw few people there. We mostly just used the place to take a shower and sleep. The second day I noticed that they made the beds but didnt vlean the floor, was dirty. It is a place to spend maximum 1 night in a rush . Needs a renovation asap.

Hotel location on busy road so access to other areas on foot difficult. Hotel was dated but very clean. Outside pool was small so could get busy. Breakfast included which was hot and cold typical Spanish which we enjoyed. Stayed for one night but had all we needed

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Great staff and good breakfast!!! Quite outdated, but bathrooms were very clean, sheets were spotless, AC was cool, and beds were amazingly comfortable :)

Small room, not the best area, not a nice entrance, you have to leave the key in the front desks so they can clean your room otherwise they won't be clean your room. Very nice breakfast, really good air conditioner, good free parking with night security

The Europa is a bit dated however this is the 2nd time in the last 18 months we have stayed there and it has maintained the standard we found last time. It does not pretend to be a multi starred hotel it is basic but clean and hospitable and for the price of 45euros for the two of us plus a nice continental breakfast to see us on our way we had no complaints. It is situated right on the N332 but it didn't stop us from sleeping. It won't suit every body but if you are on a tight budget give it a try.

Good Hotel.English Breakfast buffet style,Good access to restaurants and supermarkets in Alfaz de pi. However you need to negotiate your way across a major trunk road! Plenty Carpark space. Bus stops about 400m away. Excellent Wifi and friendly staff. Small but convenient swimming pool. Excellent Airconand it was hot so very welcome.Basically for the budget price good basic and clean facilities. No beach close by about 1 km away.

We stayed one night en route down to Mojácar in Almería. The reception has a glass panel in the front and unsettles you immediately as you have to pass your passport etc through a hatch . Perhaps security problems ??? Broken down dumped sofas in the car park like a halting site and security cameras. Not a relaxing stay and I only booked it because they said they accepted dogs and when we arrived I was told fogs of 7kgs or under. I won't be booking this hotel again.
