Have stayed here quite a few times now and have always enjoyed it. It’s close to the bars, beach and shops and has a nice outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool. All the staff are friendly and helpful too.

Great value for money, but shame I got given a small ground floor room with only a juliet balcony (despite photos and description listing that the room had a balcony among its highlights). I asked for a better single room/one on a higher floor, but was told none were available. Lovely pool area and well located for the beach and historic old town. The spa was well-equipped and the breakfast had a good selection.

The Hotel GHT Costa Brava is in a nice location in the center of Tossa de Mar. There is grocery store and several restaurants within 1 - 2 blocks. The large city beach is about 6 - 8 minutes walking away, and a smaller, nicer beach is about 5 more minutes. The hotel met our needs, except the wifi went out. Also, parking in the area is very tight, though we found free on-street parking after circling several times.

All staff efficient and friendly, cleanliness and bedroom facilities excellent found noisy plumbing in room very annoying and my balcony was overlooking the staff/delivery entrance road. Bedrooms in other areas of the hotel will be better

I have stayed at this hotel before so was happy to book again. The location is perfect as its close to everything , the staff are pleasant, the hotel is clean and tidy and there`s plenty of choice food wise. The only thing I wished we could have changed was a twin room to a double as I booked a double room but given a twin, not a big enough issue to complain about. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed 2 nights, unfortunately. We should have leave to a better place. There was a constant bad smell coming from the lack of pipe ventilation on the bathroom. The hotel public area is somewhat ok, with a pool, sauna, spa. Also a good location. But we would never come back. The blankets were horrible, the bed spread old and looked dirty. And just to finish it up we could hear everything it was said in the next door rooms.

The room I got was a newly renovated one. Same can not be said for some of the rooms that fiends got. Pool was good if you can find a lounger at the weekend, really good location for the beach and being downtown near everything you might need. The buffet dinner was not great. The quality of the food was not that good.

We enjoyed our stay in tossa de mar, the hotel was good, and had everything we required for a relaxing stay. We chose to be half board, which was extremely good value for money. There was a large selection of different options for food and cheap drinks available as well. The pool area was nice, good for families, with lots of space for lying by the pool. The wifi at the hotel was below average and struggled to load any internet pages at all. All in all, a very good stay at GHT hotel Costa brava.

From reading reviews was left a little disappointed by this hotel. Rooms was basic, mattresses very lumpy and woken many times during night as walls are thin. No internet in our room in fact had to sit in area near front desk to use wifi. Pool area is nice always had sun chairs and pool never too busy. Breakfast had a good choice and big enough to never wait for a table. We tried to use the kids club area twice just to have a play not to leave our child but was closed both times. Location is ok but as it is such a small place all hotels are close to beach. Check in was not good but I could put this down to being late Check in so not the normal front desk staff. Took a while to find the reservation asked to send my email confirming I had booked and paid. Last thing you want at midnight with a child is a long check in process. We landed at Barcelona airport took a taxi costing 160 euro to tossa de mar returned to Barcelona taking a bus from bus station to blanes then train was simple cheap and easy but did take 2.5 hours total.

We are a family of four and booked a quadruple room. The room looked a lot bigger in their pictures than it actually was. It was a double room with two additional beds squeezed in around the double. Not really enough room for a family of four and luggage. The location is great but if you plan to go in peak season dont expect to get a spot by the pool without getting there at dawn to beat the towell-dumpers. Paying extra for the use of the in-room safe and an extortionate €11 a day for a fridge is a rip-off. Dont use their parking either. Its not attached to the hotel and there is a cheaper puplic car park just a few yards further away. Overall staying there gave a feeling of being back in the 80s. The hotel is not that bad, but we will not be staying there again.

Less than impressed. We made a booking for 4 adults for 6 nights with hotels.com. It was not until we arrived that we were informed that there was no such thing as a room for 4 adults. The had CRAMMED 4 single beds into a tiny room (which DID NOT have a fridge as advertised), and tried to increase the rate as we were 4 full grown adults. We explained that there had been a misunderstanding, only to have to persevere arguments with management about whether we should still have to pay for our stay whether or not we stay there. It was IMPOSSIBLE to fit 4 in the room they provided. There was no one to specifically blame here as it was a web reservation- though the staff proved difficult in the beginning, in the end we were permitted to leave the room behind and seek accommodation elsewhere. Otherwise, a minimal but decent hotel.

welcoming hotel, buffet breakfast and dinner varied and good quality. Difficulty getting sunbeds by the pool - lots of towels early on despite signs. Quite alot of children and hotel activities geared for children more than adults. As a base brilliant, close to beach, bars and castle. Scenery awesome.
