Got a room on 9th floor and it was modern, airy, spacious, quiet, and clean. Above average for what I paid. Comfortable bed. Nice having a little fridge in the room as well. Hotel location worked out perfectly for me. Close enough to walk to Guggenheim, museum, Old Town, but not so close to tourist sites that prices are high. Many cafes, grocery stores, and other useful services right in the neighbourhood. Not knowing Bilbao when I booked, this ended up being the perfect location for me to explore the town and avoid most of the tourist congestion. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Only caution is that it’s near the football stadium, so if there’s a match on it can get very busy (and noisy) in the area.

Hotel was located just at the edge of the main shopping and dining areas of central Bilbao. Everything seemed to be within walking distance and very convenient. Our suite was clean and large, had a separate bedroom with king bed and living area with pull-out sofa bed. It was perfect for our visit since we were dropping off our son to university and he needed to stay with us for a few days before checking into his dormitory. Breakfast was also included and consisted of pastries, breads, eggs, potatoes, ham, bacon, cheeses, fresh-cut fruit, cereals, yogurt coffees, teas and juices. We would definitely stay here again, or at another one of the Ilunion branded hotels.

Stayed here recently and it was just okay. The location is good and the room was clean and comfy, but there were a few annoying things. The Wi-Fi was a hassle—you had to re-register every few hours, which got really frustrating. The parking lot was also hard to find and super tight. If you’re driving anything bigger than a compact car, good luck fitting into the tiny spaces. Breakfast was a letdown too. Not much variety, and once food ran out, it didn’t get refilled. If you didn’t show up early, you were out of luck. Overall, decent enough for a short stay—but definitely room for improvement.

The hotel is operated by heartless people who prioritize profit over their guests' well-being. I experienced a medical emergency and requested a reservation change, not a cancellation, without penalty. I provided a letter from my doctor stating that I CAN'T travel due to health issues, but they still decided to charge the full amount. It's shocking how little empathy some have. I've stayed at this hotel before, and as a senior citizen in a serious situation, I expected more compassion. Instead, they didn't care. What a pity.
