Hotel Las Costas

Nice large rooms, very helpful staff, great breakfast and live music every evening. Hotel is on the strip with best restaurants and shopping.

Having stayed here before I found the room cleaning a bit hit and miss on this occasion, room always cleaned well but on certain days coffee sachets not replaced & no bath mat received & no spare toilet roll left

Staff were excellent, hotel refurbished this summer to a good standard.

The Beach was a stones throw away from the poolside. Staff were brilliant and even tolerated my questionable spanish lingo. Hotel was spotless and stunning. Would stay again. Callum

Not particularly bothered by beach as stayed within the complex except to dine elsewhere on some evenings. Excellent apartment allocated, spacious & comfortable for a couple but not for a larger group. Brought one of the plastic chairs from the terrace as more comfortable than the one lounge chair provided. Great shower with loads of hot water and very nice shower gel. Two single beds rather than a double but appreciated the extra space on the warm nights though the beds got "hot" after a while. Had to ask for a second pillow for myself and the one supplied had a hollow in the middle (from years of service?) but this suited my personal preference. Matrimonial dispute over the a/c as she did not want it and I did. Lost the arguement. Wife has limited mobility at this time and the lifts from street to Reception and then down to the restaurant/pool level were much appreciated. The well-lit walkways without steps were also appreciated. Great free breakfast included in our rate and we enjoyed the wide choice of good quality every morning Had dinner on one evening and this was reasonably priced at €20 per person for the wide choices available.. Plenty of room in the swimming pool which I found "refreshing" rather than heated though the swirlpool was very warm in comparison..Great towels provided both in the apartment and for use by the pool. Very friendly & helpful staff throughout the complex. We had made the hotel aware of our late arrival on the first night and sandwiches left.

Unfortunately we only got to stay one night but during our short stay we found the room beautiful, large bedroom, separate seating/tv lining area, fabulous bathroom and lovely outdoor patio area. The hotel has direct access to the beach. Everywhere was spotless and staff at reception was very efficient and helpful. Would definitely stay again and hopefully for a longer visit.

Apartment was large, clean and accessible. This was the week before the refurb so not sure how they will improve it!

SAUNA NOT WORKING, NO WATER IN THE ROOM, NO IRON IN THE ROOM

Lovely break at this hotel & there were no complaints from the family which does not happen often! Great food, lovely breakfast. Excellent location right on beach & shops, restaurants nearby. Spoons & White Lion...great food dirt cheap! Book it, we will again

Good hotel, comfortable bed, good food. Bathroom needs updating ( hotel closed from 1april to do this). Excellent walk in pool.

Although the check in was ok, the check out was not so good. When we checked in, we were given an electronic item to put into the safe, along with an explanation of how to use it. When we checked out, we were told that there would be a 4 euro charge for using the safe. I pointed out that it would have been helpful to have been informed of this at the check in point, when we were given the electronic item. The response was that I should have read the information sheet that all guests are told to read when they check in (we were not told to read it). I repeated that it would make sense (in my opinion) to inform guests of the charge at the time of giving them the electronic item. The receptionist repeated what she had told me and gave me the 4 euro back. I did say that I would pay for the safe, but she decided not to take my money.

Loved the design with all the little garden areas and the staff were all very helpful. Good flat coastal paths either way out of the hotel

Very nice spotless clean hotel in an excellent location. A lot less noisy than some hotels, 5 minute walk to the main area plus the beach is 1 minute away.

Great location

The property is pleasant enough, although the communal areas are a bit too small for the number of guests staying here- ie, too many people around at peak breakfast times. There were only a few things that bothered me. Firstly, there was quite a pronounced dip in the mattress which was not good for my back. Secondly, many of the male guests think that it is ok to sit in the sauna completely naked with their legs apart, displaying their reproductive organs. This may be the norm in an adult male only sauna in some countries, but this sauna is not one of these. There are women and children guests. There is an A4 sheet of paper on the door to the sauna area reminding guests that swimsuits must be worn, but this is not enforced by the staff.

Smallish hotel, comfortable bed, excellent food. Lovely walk in pool, good pool bar.
