Nice hotel great restaurant. In the side of the wall.

Great location and friendly staff

Hotel was very nice, older building but very well maintained. Our room was on the road side of the building and traffic noise was very loud. Ear plugs or possibly a back room would be better. Location and price are excellent. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Except for the heating all was good.

Self checkin awesome, hard if you don’t have wifi.

Our stay was great! Was located across the street from the wall, which allowed for everything to be within walking distance. Clean room with working amenities, you cannot go wrong with this place.

Nice city with towers and casltles and very good hotel and location

the check in process is very confuse because the reservation number that i get from expedia doesn't work with the hotel system.

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The situation is very convenient for the city centre, bars and restaurants. Free parking close by. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good and liked that the hotel has character.

Loved sitting outside at the hotel’s bar and restaurant. It has a great view of the countryside below and the city walls. Food was great, both dinner and breakfast. Very pleasant stay.

Perfect position next to wonderful city walls & a few minutes walk to the old town. We even managed to find somewhere to eat out which as vegetarians has proved very hard in Spain!

Right outside the gates to the historic city, the hotel is comfortable, modern & close to everything. Staff is knowledgeable & helpful.

We had a great time staying @ this place in Avila. It's right outside the walls, so we stopped back in the room to rest as abreak from touring. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated their proficient English! Room was spacious, rustic (historic bldg), comfortable, & had a lovely view over the counntryside. A good map on the website would help in locating it - there are numerous roundabouts!

Good hotel price and very clean room. About the size or a bit larger than most European hotel rooms. It was a little warm overnight, and no a/c. The bathrooms were excellent and the room cleanliness excellent. The breakfast is a good value, but not good hours for business travelers.

Loved this hotel, it was a really nice garden room. Modern, clean and felt more expensive than it was. I parked in a private Carpark for safety as my car was full of my belongings. It was a tiny walk away from. The receptionist gave really helpful tourist info without me having to ask.

No fault of the hotel we had a hard time finding the hotel as my husband did not want to go around the corner of the wall. So we spent I believe about 6 hours looking for the hotel and my husband said that he got incorrect directions from everyone including the travel information center. I guess they didn't make it clear to go up the hill and around the corner at the end of the wall. The hotel attendant was extremely friendly and pleasant and helpful. Helpful with checking directions for us and we had a very nice time. Met a very nice couple from US and had dinner and breakfast with them and checked out Avila. Very peaceful, quiet and pleasant stay. Only will have to return and stay longer possibly. I really want to thank the attendant for all her help and pleasantness and patience with us. Very Hospitable and comfortable. Felt like we returned home.
