Great option best in Avila that I know, booking superior on3 rd floor renovated

Great location, our room clean and very comfortable. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Avila.

I arrived early but my room was available. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean room and very quiet. Hotel in a great location.

Great staff

Room smelled like diapers. Housekeeper did try to help. She said something about shower backing up and causing that. Bed frame was not comfortable. Only one sheet between very basic mattress and body. Carpets were visibly dirty. Hard to find parking anywhere near hotel. But, the cathedral is right out the front door and that was spectacular.

Excellent hotel.

Comfortable rooms, spacious ceiling and good staff. The only disadvantage of this hotel is that parking place is far away.

Perfect location, central but quiet and helpful service. Great room 222 overlooking cathedral. Walkable to anywhere, shops, restaurants and bars. Great bathroom and bed, aircon not too strong, needed at 34C!!

Nice clean well located hotel with good breakfast

The hotel is in an historic building next to the cathedral, a 20 minute walk from the station. We had a problem with the room which was due to housekeeping. When we arrived the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty. There was an electric kettle, 2 teabags and 2 glasses, no cups or coffee and only one bottle of water in the fridge when there should have been two. We reported this and it was immediately sorted. When going to bed I turned back the duvet and found a hole in the duvet cover. Also there was something stiff inside the cover. On closer inspection this appeared to be a ladies pant liner which had obviously gone through the laundry and had been ironed onto the inside of the cover and was well and truly stuck. These things were both at the top of the duvet and were immediately obvious to me when I turned the cover down. I don't know how the housekeeper missed them. The bathroom sliding door didn't close completely leaving and inch gap which didn't help with privacy. There was a lovely large balcony but no chairs to sit out on it. On the plus side, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, hot and cold.

A great stay in general. I particularly loved the fact that it is right next to the Cathedral, which is very convenient to attend Sunday Mass!

It was a quick visit. The city within the walls was beautiful and the location was amazing! The Cathedral was right next door! The bed was very comfortable and I love that there was a couch to relax on instead of sitting only on the bed. Good amenities, even the coffee was tasty. The room is also very safe for older folks with a bar in the shower for safety. My mom and I loved it!

Staff at Palacio de Valderrabanos was great as they were very helpful even as we made our check-in an hour after new years. The property is amazing and with a very rich history, so very recommendable to stay. Parking was not that close and was not part of the hotel, but is understandable in such a historic landmark. Extremely recommended.

Located in center of historic area. Next to the cathedral and main plaza. The wall at Avila is impressive

The hotel has a beautifully decorated lounge area, which aligns with its palatial history. The location is perfect. The room was simple but comfortable, with every essential amenity included: small frigobar, good size bathroom, nice shower, perfect pillows and bed. The room was quiet, which helped with the sleeping. The staff helped us get a taxi when we checked out. The only disappointment for my son was the TV (not a smart one) but honestly who cares about a TV when visiting such a beautiful town?

The hotel is located in a very good location, next to the cathedral, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the breakfast, buffet style, is very good ... and despite everything I would not recommend this hotel for a rather annoying detail: the noise of the plumbing. When a bathroom faucet is opened in another room, you hear the plumbing as if you had a loudspeaker in the room, which makes the stay not very pleasant if what you want to do in the room is to rest. It is not a normal plumbing noise, but a really loud and irritating noise. In addition, the ammenities do not correspond to a hotel of this category. For example, in the bathroom I am used to find gel, shampoo and hair conditioner, and in this hotel they only have a shower gel “all in one”. And although the room was a double room for two people, there were only ammenities for one person (only one toothbrush, only one shower cap,...).
