Hotel Playa de las Llanas

Lovely property with good restaurant not far away. Only issue was a bed and pillow that was very hard. Everything was clean and in good working order. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Unusual hotel very much in the traditional Spanish style, with quirky features such as old-style rotary light switches, rustic plasterwork etc. Welcoming hostess and good breakfast. Quiet and comfy room with great shower. Easy secure free parking and short walk to beach or village centre

The hotel was cool and all. It was rather difficult to get a cup of coffee in the morning and there is no where else you can get a cup before 10am. It’s a quaint hotel and a bit secluded if that’s what you’re looking for. 15-20 minute walk to village center. It would be nice if they put a tea kettle or coffee pot in the room or lobby.

What a great place! Looked like it was very recently remodeled or at least updated. The decor was tremendous. I felt right at home the minute I stepped inside. Breakfast was fantastic. The best part was the staff - so friendly and helpful. My Spanish is terrible and thank goodness they were fluent in English. The next time I am in the north, I am staying here!

Great stay, very cozy. Staff was very helpful. Only compliment was the door did not lock. Other than that, it was great!!

Very charming privately owned lodge in a quaint area. Fairly new building, but owners had the foresight to design and build to blend into the community. Staff very nice, even though they only had one person speaking English, we didn't have a problem communicating. Food was great and ample. Definitely recommend for your travel lodging needs.

Comfortable tradional small country hotel in quiet location. Good parking and very nice food.

The hotel is about 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Muros de Nalon. The room was comfortable with only the sound of the countryside at night. Staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating our special requests and arranging for airport taxis. There were few other clients at a very quiet time of year, but I learned that they happily accommodate pilgrims.

Hotel Playa de las Llanas is a small well-equiped hotel (including an elevator). in a country setting but close enough to the town centre that you can walk to restaurants in10-15 minutes - the same amount of time that it takes to reach a spectacular overlook to the ocean beach 300 metres below. But you might prefer to dine in the hotel restaurant which offers good Asturian cooking at very reasonable prices. The owner, Luis is a consumate host and his wife is a very good cook. Neither speak English and our Spanish is in the form of a Berlitz dictionary and Mr Google but that didn't have any impact on how well we were treated and once a younger member of staff who speaks English arrived things were even simpler. A highlight of our trip. .

Friendly staff but make an effort and go into town to eat, the restaurant is overpriced and food not that good

We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. The hotel owner was very friendly as was the gentleman who served drinks in the evening and breakfast. The hotel itself was full of character and spotlessly clean.

We had a lovely one night stay on our way around the north of Spain. The hotel was a great semi-rural retreat. The beach a couple of miles drive to the west of the hotel was lovely.

The hotel was beuatiful and traditional. The service was excellent.the manager did not speak english which was perfect for our spanish practice. The manager though shocked at first that we were two women sharing a double bed, was very respectful. The hotel offered breakfast for an extra charge.this was not communicated during the booking proccess or by the manager on arrival. Even so our stay was peaceful and bery tranquil. The hotel was perfect for exploring nearby towns and cities. the 4ural hotel was p3rfect to return to after a day of adventures. The local village Muros de Nalon a thousand metrew away offerd lovely cafes,restaurants(restaurant vassilles had the best food) markets, a train station linking you to any direction.we did not hire a car because the trains were regular, cheap and connections many.we also enjoyed the coastal paths that took you to lovely beaches.We had a superb stay and experience at the hotel and village. Nettes kleines Hotel mit umfangreichen Frühstück. Liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, ist aber zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.

Falta de seriedad y profesionalidad. Me comunicaron anulación de reserva por cierre del hotel, que estaba pagada con antelación, un día antes de la llagada. Desconozco como es el hotel. No obstante su proceder es suficiente para no recomendarlo. Por supuesto no reservamos en él nunca más.
