This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable. There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff. Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!! The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!

Great stay. Hotel Portman was really nice and clean. The staff were very helpful with everything. So nice to meet such wonderful people.

Quiet hotel with great staff. Nice room very clean. Comfortable bed. Awesome breakfast with an amazing rooftop terrace. Not much to do in this little town especially on a Sunday. The only restaurant open in town was a weird experience. Just passing through For one night, well worth the little detour off course on our Spain tour. Spectacular view up the hill from the road. I highly recommend this place:)

We stayed for two nights as it was close to la Manga for our diving trip. The area of Portman is nothing special , run down and in need of investment. The beach however at Portman is a hidden gem. Lovely restaurants and a small beach with loungers. The hotel itself was spotless, nice and clean with helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us as our teenage son was unwell.

This is a great hotel with an amazing team. We were looked after from the minute we got into their reception. Our beds and room was spotless cleaned throughout our stay. This area is very deprived and it felt great to do responsible tourism by supporting and staying in this town that has suffered a lot. Also, most of the staff has a disability and this hotel offers them employment. It always feel good to do the right thing!

Small pleasant hotel. Ideal for La manga golf, I was visiting the port on the other side of the hill. Good AC. Good hot showers. Parking is on street but very quiet. Pleasant breakfast available 8-10. A few good local restaurants nearby . Recommend mar de canas resturante excellent food.

Partis pour une semaine et on a joué les prolongations. L'hôtel n'a rien de fou, le village n'est pas dingue, la plage a proximité est polluée aux métaux lourds, Cartagena et ses commodités sont assez loin mais c'est tranquille, très calme et reposant.
