Hotel Puig Francó

Fantastic hotel, and exceptional location. Swimming pool outside was great, spa even better. Hotel is super dog friendly and that s a big plus. Only minus is that nobody seems to speak English, making sometimes the request we had even at restaurant very challenging

We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. The food at breakfast time was second to none, a variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. The staff were super helpful and made our stay memorable, a special mention to Ingrid who answered any questions that we had. The hotel restaurant, Restaurant Mitic, is a lovely experience and the pizzeria which is on site is super. A highlight was visiting the town of Mollol on Easter Sunday and going into the beautiful church of Santa Cecelia, Patron Saint of music. I played golf at the club in Camprodon on the Friday morning and the staff were very welcoming and I was able to hire equipment, it was a very pleasant way to explore a most picturesque part of the world. The views, the rooms, the staff, the company of our friends and of course the motorbike event which were the reason for our visit all combined to make this a trip we will always remember. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. A stay here is not a trial at all, it’s a joy.
