The room was beautiful with a lovely balcony window that looked over the courtyard below. The exposed brick and light fixtures in the room were perfectly paired. The shower was massive by European standards and I was grateful for the air conditioning. We had 24 desk service which was great for our early morning checkout. The area around the hotel was super safe and is right off Las Ramblas so it’s well situated for dining and sights. I would 100% stay here again if I find myself back in Barcelona.

Hotel Sant Agustí Review – July 2025 Stay I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel during our trip to Barcelona in July 2025. The location is absolutely amazing. We loved that it was within walking distance of many must-see attractions, yet just one block away from the famous La Rambla street, which made a big difference—it felt both central and peaceful. The square where the hotel is located is very charming, with a lovely café where you can enjoy your morning coffee, breakfast, or even dinner. The hotel itself is connected to the historic Sant Agustí church, which adds so much character. Another highlight is that you can enter the famous La Boqueria Market directly from the back of the square where the hotel sits—super convenient! The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was offered daily for additional fee, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned every day, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Hotel Sant Agustí for anyone visiting Barcelona who wants a mix of history, charm, and a prime location.

Good location, walking distance to most of the attractions and metra. We were able to store our luggage prior check in. Room small, clean, had everything that we needed. Stuff helpful. We had an issue with the hairdryer and we got a replacement in 2 minutes.

The hotel was in an unsafe area, as soon as we get there the hotel staff told us to keep an eye on our belongings all the time and to be aware of the guys that steals the phones and wallets. Nothing happens to us but just been told that since the moment we got there, made us feel unsafe and tense. We appreciated that they told us but we felt insecure. The surrounding stank like pee out on the streets close to the hotel. The room wasn't that clean or at least it didnt feel clean for us, felt more like they made the beds and that was it. We could tell the difference because the days before we stayed in Madrid and the cleaning was great and you could smell it fresh every evening! The pillows were hard also the bed too, and some of the staff a little rude. At least that was our experience!

The property itself is fine, however it was located in the worst, most dangerous area of the city. We were advised by several people not to stay out after dark. There was a church right next to the hotel that feeds homeless people and they all look scary. Not a good place for women to stay there. We spend only 1 night and missed the opportunity to explore the city with all its lights and have a nice diner in a restaurants

Great service, advice, information from Julian at the front desk as soon as we arrived. Location is great- front door on a square with a café, church, places to sit, sometimes entertainment, easy walk to main streets, cafés and restaurants, metro, Boqueria parking garage (recommended-large parking spots, security, bright, safe). Room was beautiful (penthouse), clean, has a fridge 👍 comfortable beds (we had 3), bright, nice bathroom with tub, separate shower and toiletries, lots of windows. Breakfast onsite until 10:30– we paid the hotel at checkout, separate from booking as it was the same price. There is a restaurant and lovely outdoor terrace. Check-out was quick, efficient and friendly (sorry I do not have her name at reception). There is a holding room for luggage at no extra cost. Would recommend Hotel Sant Agusti and would stay there again.
