ibis Oviedo

Breakfast was excellent, room was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. Food is in restaurant was not very good and didnt have a lot of variety. Parking was expensive and the location of the hotel was inconvenient and far from the center of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Efficient and friendly staff

This was a good value option in Oviedo and very handy that it had a parking garage as it would have been difficult to park on the road nearby as all spaces were taken. The breakfast options were good and the room was very quiet.

This is a great hotel if you are young. Very clean, comfortable bed. Pillows are toooooo soft. Breakfast is OK, not as healthy as they think, no muesli, instead healthy cocoa pops?? Dinner was overcooked fish and chicken.. reheated perhaps. Still too much plastic in use.

Amazing Ibis. I mean, I usually appreciate Ibis but this one in Oviedo was beyond expectations. Although Asturias is famous for its food, well, try eating something healthy or something out of what is considered lunch time....apart bocadillos, bocadillos, bocadillos...here in Ibis instead food is good and 24 hours a day. Room was clean, spotless, and the staff is smart and fully implement antiCovid health measures.

This was the final night of 4-night stay at Ibis Oviedo. My original reservation was booked in as 3 nights and then 1 night. Overall is was a very disappointing experience. I have stayed at other great Ibis hotels. This was has a very unfriendly, rude staff and a quite poor location (not close to central in a pretty poor looking neighborhood). I had to change rooms after my room was infested with ants. It ruined food and even got into some of my clothes. My WiFi service did not work at all, and the staff had no interest in solving the problem. I needed the WiFi as I was on a business project. Overall, very disappointing.

I had stayed at another Ibis Hotel (Porto Gaia, Portugal) earlier this year and I had an excellent experience. Unfortunately, Ibis Oviedo was NOT the same. This was a 4-night stay (original reservation got split into 3 nights, then 1 night) while I worked on a project in the area. My overall experience was terrible... ending with a room change because ants infested my room. And while I am never quick to write "poor" reviews, I have to honestly say that this was one of the worst experiences of my many years staying in hotels. The staff overall is simply not customer friendly. Their attitude in conversation is condescending and rude, making it a very unprofessional experience. There was one service staff woman at the front desk area on Friday morning who was kind and helpful. Another younger woman (Itziar) was simply mean and rude when asked for help about a difficult situation. My first day when I checked in a bathroom light was not working. I reported it, and was told the next day that it could not be fixed. I was ok with that since there was still one working light and I didn't have the time to do a room change. Then one morning I woke up and my room was infested with ants. It ruined food I had bought and got into my clothes and other things. Obviously I reported it, showing the service lady my photos and 2 videos. After a room change, I completely lost my WiFi service too. Reported it, but it was not fixed either. Location is also very poor.

Good stay, Nice hotel and friendly staff. Great on site parking. Immediate area a little rough and a fair walk of 20mins or so to the town centre.

It is what it is. Very reasonably priced. The smoke from the smoking rooms permeates the air and found its way into our non smoking rooms bathrooms.
