Amazing place to stay in Bilbao! Great room, super helpful receptionists and affordable prices for everything. I'd stay here again if we visit Bilbao another time.

Breakfast schedule inappropriately managed. Starts late (8:00 AM) and by groups. Even though I was in a hurry, a was push to 9:00 because a group was accommodated in front of me.

Excellent location with department stores nearby. Great connection via Metro from Bus Station. Lots of restaurants nearby. 10 minute walk to Old Town and about 20 minutes to Guggenheim. Very friendly staff on reception, with useful tips for eateries. The communal area on the 6th. floor is very useful if you want to cater for yourself (kettle, microwave, fridge etc.). The only problem is that the building itself is intrinsically noisy, because it is a metal structure with flimsy dividing walls built within the shell of an old building. Footsteps, conversations and particularly the cleaners' trolleys echo around the building. I was woken at 7:00 each morning by such noise, which is Ok if you are doing the Camino but not so good if you want to relax. We did not use the bar, cafe or have the buffet breakfast but these all looked popular.

The hotel was great. People were so nice . The place was clean and a great location . Parking was bad hard to get to.

I arrived in the morning and hoped, of course for an early check in after a night of travel, but it was not to be. It was hard to say whether they just don’t want to check people in or they were really busy. It was very little empathy or consideration From reception. There were no glasses in the room, and when I asked, they said to just take some from the communal kitchen, which seems rather odd. It did not matter to me, but there was no television on the room. Should prospective guest be expecting one. The hotel is in a very good location.

Very nice place, highly recommended. Nice dining scene during the night and plenty of shopping places. Underground train is just across the street. Nice and clean rooms. The 6th floor offers dining tables, microwaves, refrigerators, and laundry room.

Among the best locations in Bilbao with walking distance to the main attraction sites. The room is clean and comfortable. We also like the lobby to relax in the evening. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating to our requests (for early check-in and late check-out). The breakfast comes and a good variety of options.

Great location, clean rooms

Unfortunately during my stay at LaTroupe, I encountered bed bugs that left bites all over my body. However, after informing front desk of the situation, the team was very kind, helped me through the cleaning process, and ensured they were quickly following strict protocols for all necessary health and safety procedures were being followed to get rid of them. It was truly a bummer and made the last part of my time in Spain and the days following not quite as enjoyable as they should be, but I am grateful for how helpful, quickly actionable, and caring the team was to ensure I was safe and taken care of to the extent they could.

It is nice hotel close to the main center

A great place to stay - easy to walk or get metro/bus to all sites. Department store across the road with supermarket and take out food on 6th floor was superb. Reception team really helpful. I had a great stay.

My family and I stayed for two nights in a family room, and had a great experience. The bed was very comfortable, and it is in a wonderful area. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I am in the area.

Everything about this property was great, it just needs a little work when it comes to the air conditioning. Spacious rooms, everything was impeccable, and amazing customer service. I loved every interaction with the people that I met at the front desk. But even though I had the air blasting in the room, it never really cooled, and it made for a slightly uncomfortable evening. But other than that, everything else is great. Safe and you can't beat the location. The location is everything.

Nice hotel. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Some of the people staying near us were being quite loud in the hallways after midnight. Seems like the party spilled out of the car downstairs and into the rooms... Otherwise a pleasant stay
