The property is perfectly situated. There was a problem getting in but a phone call to the helpdesk sorted that out. Could do with a trivet, to put hot pans on, and a draining tray for wet, washed dishes. Note: it’s noisy during the evening with the restaurants below the apartment and the restaurant extractor fan is right next to one of the bedrooms. Ear plugs are provided and boy, do you need them during the day. Nighttime wasn’t too bad, but clean up and delivery lorries start early in the morning. I’d still go there again, however.

Everything was amazing. Very clean and organised. Staff very polite and professional. We were just disappointed that we were asked to pay an extra €15 for early check-in before 3 PM. Also, we couldn’t leave our bags after check-out until our flight at 9 PM unless we paid another €15 each to use the lockers outside in the streets. That was quite frustrating. In my opinion is better to take hotel, you can do early check in for free and to leave you baggages for free. ( in case you arriving earlier and you leave later)

This property was not as nice as I had hoped. There are some issues, which individually aren’t a big issue, but taken together would benefit attention. We were only there for 4 nights. There was a terrible smell from the shower drain, the shower door didn’t close properly causing the floor to flood, there are no kitchen knives for cooking, the crockery and cutlery is a bit random in that there are differing amounts rg three knives, lots of forks, two plates, four bowls. There is only one bedside lamp, not two. This is marketed as suitable for 4. But it would have been very difficult if the sofa bed was down as you would not have been able to get past it form the bedroom. The biggest issue however was noise. I am used to the noise in Malaga but this was something else. There was banging and clattering like bins being emptied through the night and it literally felt that this was in the room. It was problematic not just a nuisance. The doors to the balcony were really difficult to close properly and don’t seem sealed. This may be why. But you could hear conversations from the outside and the lane to the side. The app didn’t work to access the building and other guests agreed that it wasn’t Walt’s easy to get access via the keypad. It is a super location however. The balcony was nice. And with a little attention from management this could all be remedied fairly easily. But for these reasons I wouldn’t stay here again.

The check-in process was horrible and highly stressful after receiving the code to check in, it didn’t work so I called and the automated voice system wouldn’t connect me to an agent after numerous overseas calls. After 10-15 minutes called me back to tell me my code was active, but it still didn’t work. I called again and tried again to speak to an agent but no luck, 5 minutes later an agent called me and told me there was another door to hotel. It was hidden bc there was a vendor with their goods in front of the door. The door work opened after I entered my code an after 35-40 minutes of agony, I was finally able to get into my room.

The property is very centrally located, which is very convenient for the guests that wishes to be within walkable distance from the historic center. However, there was no hot water available in the shower any of the days I was there, the A/C did not work at all either. I sent a message to the property and no one ever got back to me on the topic. Recently I received a call from the property claiming that they will charge me a fee because I smoked on the premises, which did not happen. I do not smoke, and I did not have any guests visit me during my one-night stay here. Besides that, there is no reception, so you are not able to hold your luggage at the place before you check-n or after you check out, unless you pay an extra fee for late check that may or may not be available. I travelled all around Spain during this last visit, stayed at 4 different hotels and this has been the worse, the only good thing was the location. I'm very disappointed in their service overall.

Stayed in a Studio at this "Smart" hotel for 7 nights. Pros: Building is at the beginning of a very busy corridor leading into the Jewish Quarter. Taxi waiting area within a few feet. Great location as it is close to everything. Building is secure, although one must ensure that the main door is completely locked after the buzzer. To Consider: Mattress and pillows are of cheap quality - really very thin. Housekeeping did not bother to change the comforter which had a rather large ink stain; comforter did not even have a cover, just the insert. Sheets also had some old yellow stains. Nespresso machine provided, but no pods and sugar. Laundry machine in room but no detergent. There is a restaurant downstairs - it gets really loud at night, even if you are on the other side of the building. The walls are really thin, so you hear everyone walking, moving chairs, having conversations, guests slamming the main door, walking up the stairs, etc. BTW, no staff at the apartment. You need to call them on the phone for everything. Experience: On the day of my checkout, sewage cleaning was going on in the building, but guests were not informed. The entire building smelled so bad. I vomited once and then resorted to spraying perfume into a mask and wore it while I was getting myself ready.

never left a review, but just found this entire experience so unacceptable. i requested and paid for late checkout the night before. i heard nothing from the hotel other than my payment was accepted and assumed me late checkout was permitted. i was told 30 minutes before checkout that it was declined… whatever i sorted it out but then my backpack zippers both broke and i could no longer close my bag. the chat function is useless, so i caller. asked for 10 minutes to run down to one of the many stores below and buy a new bag quickly. i was told that i was not allowed 10 minutes and that if i left i would be locked out and my stuff would be thrown out. i left anyway because really i dare you to throw anything out and see how that pans out with the police and court case for a 10 minute extension. for the price they charge for such awful service i do not recommend this place. at best this is a 1.5 star hotel, so if you’re good with that then stay. i’m not.

Very clean, minimally decorated studio with a wonderful bathroom and balcony (where enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine), right in the heart of Malaga. On busy Calle Granada, which is fabulous and terrible, as late at night the street noise of revellers can be quite loud into the wee hours and early mornings you hear businesses setting up shop. Love the church bells. Love the electronic key system. Room could use some coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and dishsoap and sponges!

Modern clean private studio , electronic check in. Download the app and at precisely 3pm your room number and access code appears on the app. Washing machine was useful but no dryer. Contacted for user instructions but was sent a manual in Spanish. So I’m presuming no drying facility which is somewhat unhelpful if only staying a few nights. No where to dry the clothes. The bed was comfortable and air Con good. The only issue was the outside noise which from inconsiderate vendors dragging tables and shouting after midnight packing up. My room was directly next to a courtyard used by bar vendors so extremely noisy. It makes the hotels quiet policy from 10pm hypercritical and a waste of time. I would however stay again because it was super modern and high tech with un intrusive access in and out. You are protected by CCTV which is good oh and there is a lift . Location was great with a taxi rank just on the main road ( near the tunnel ). Train station 20 mins walk

We booked a studio apartment which was nicely decorated, clean and modern. It was located in a great part of town in the old town, near to main tourist attractions and not too far to walk to the harbour and beach. The only thing I wish I’d know when booking is that there is no on site reception or luggage storage, and the only way to communicate is via an online reception chatbot on the Líbere app. When we had a few issues with our stay this method of communication proved to be quite laborious. We had no hot water for the duration of our stay which I was told would be fixed but despite contacting the online reception team via the chatbot everyday and one visit from the online reception team, it never got fixed. The walk-in shower also leaked due to poor design and we had to constantly mop up water. The toilet seat was also broken but once reported via the app was fixed asap. We couldn’t check in until 3pm so booked a secure locker nearby via the Libere app. I didn’t receive confirmation of how to access the locker before our stay and when I couldn’t get a response from the online reception team on the day, I ended up having to pay for a new locker. The online reception team finally sent details through but it was too late by then. The apartments are located next to bars and restaurants so it was quite noisy at night when we were trying to sleep with people talking, drinking and eating outside and proprietors dragging bins around until the early hours.
