LIVVO Lago Taurito Hotel & Aquapark All Inclusive

This is my second stay here, and Thevroom was better this time, the hotel is very basic, but the areabis why I come. Taurito is lovely, nice beach 5 mins walk and great restaurants along the broadwalk such as Sunset Taurito where you find unlike in the hotel friendly service with a smile. Livvo needs better customer service, to make up for its basic outdated property

Lovely stay .

Good clean hotel. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and it was great. Basic, but tasty food and we always had lots of choices Pool was large and there were enough chairs for everyone. No complaints

Not "All inclusive" - have to buy your own soap! during a global pandemic!! also have to give a deposit for the tv remote control. no snack bar (few biscuits put out around meal times at the only bar open during daytime at the pool). and no notice on their own website nor anywhere else - most of the facilities were closed during our stay (no kids club, no trampolines, no bowling, no games room, no indoor bar, spa and gym limited, no playground at all there! and golf is €5pp). I understand there are restrictions but if they had advertised this I would not have booked, saved money with somewhere with just a pool. you also cant get drinks by the water slides/water park, you have to purchase them, or smuggle them in from the other pools bar. the activities werent at the advertised times, if any went ahead. and the evening entertainment involved a horrendously painful hours of out of time violin playing, the volume of the music at nighttime and positioning means the entire hotel is forced to listen to the repetitive playlist nightly until 11pm. house keeping hit and miss. reception wont do anything over the phone and has a constant queue of customers. they were stressed and rude (almost understandably) not helpful in the slightest to any of our queries. heads up: Bus route 33 goes to puerto rico which was a savour. all other bus routes currently stopped. Food was ok but the same for lunch and dinner every day with one dish changing. no concept of cross contamination) gross.

Size of the room was good. Overall there was a lot that could be improved; lack of hot water for hot beverages, bars shutting at 11pm, cleanliness of rooms could be significantly better, hotel staff quite dismissive and rude...

The food was dreadful and cold. The restaurant was like feeding time at a zoo. My room smelled very bad of cigarettes, I asked to be moved. The curtains were changed but the bed and bedding were stinky. I wasn't moved and they did no more for me. There is NO adult evening entertainment in the adult bar. It is a really rough and common resort. The water park is icy cold and I only saw 6 people throughout my 5 night stay in the water there. You have to pay for so many extras..Towels, kettle, safe, sun beds etc. There were kids everywhere even though they should have all been at school at this time. The spa stated a pool - there is no swimming pool for actual swimming. The spa was very disappointing and very expensive.

Overall we had a great stay and were positive about the condition of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was great, the area was great and people were really friendly! However the beds were terrible, the food in the snack bar was a joke and there was a lot of noise from the entertainment every night. The pictures also shows a spa and fitness - be aware that it is located in another hotel and you can not access if you bring children under the age of 16. The hotel needs reno, but we had a nice vacation with great weather!

We styaed 2 nights in the hotel and maybe that's why we got a room which didn't get direct sun light. the room was cold, even during day and it was really cold during night, we had to put on lots of clothes to prevent getting cold. I asked reception to get e heather, but I had to rent a heather in a weekly basis for 2 nights! For an all inclusive hotle, the hotel has a serious policy for cost saving. Internet is free only in the reception area and that floor, not in the rooms. Even TV was not free!!! If you want to use the TV, you have to pay an extra money to get the remote control from reception! this was the only hotel I have seen this. Perhaps because of the location, I couldn't access to internet via my mobile in the hotel ,while I had access in Las Palmas, imagine you paid almost an expensive price for an all inclusive hotel, but you still are stuck in a cold room without TV, no Internet from Hotel, no interent from network! swimming pool water is cold.

The buffet was excellent. The mix and quality of food was more likened to a five star hotel. The food caters for all needs and with all day drinks and ice creams from the bars we had no need to use a kettle in the room.

I think the level of service is best described by one memorable experience with one of the chefs at the morning buffet. The buffet was varied and delicious, with breakfast being no different - multiple types of eggs (scrambled, boiled, fried two different ways), fruits, hot foods, cheeses, breads, cereals, yoghurts, sausages and bacon - you get the idea. Even my picky children were able to find things they would eat, with over a dozen beverages available as well. The thing is, I love bacon, and this was GOOD bacon - thick cut and delicious. But I like my bacon a specific way, and by that, I mean BURNT. My children also prefer it this way, and yes, some people think it’s weird. The buffet had a nice selection of both BURNT and “normal” bacon - except Saturday. So I asked the man if he had any “burnt” bacon. He looked horrified. And then he gave me “burnt” bacon. 🙂 Yes, even though it obviously offended his chef’s soul, this very kind man made sure that, strange customer that I am, got exactly what I wanted. That was the type of service we were consistently given - hotel staff were doing everything they could do to make sure our holiday was enjoyable. I will happily return to this facility. The Waterpark was too cold for us to enjoy in December (salty icy water) but the hotel pool was lovely, and the service. The service was wonderful, as was the “burnt” bacon.

The ambience is wonderful.... but the property itself is a serious renovation

Nice hotel in a lovely area, I was worried it would be too isolated but everything you needed was on site. Beach was clean, food was better than any other AI I have been to. Room was spotless and the aqua park fantastic . Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

It’s close to the beach and the water park was grea. The food was good too. On the downside the juice cups are too small and you’re constantly filling up small cups at the pool or at the restaurant. There was also no teenager’s club. The entertainment was mostly by the animation team. Ok now and again but needed professional shows.

Great location once you get there. Service could go a bit more in detail of what options are there to get to their location.
