I've stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while visiting Cartagena and had really good time. The room was spacious with nice view, very comfortable and I loved the walk in shower which was much better than some 4* hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, within short walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to the city.

I was very surprised of how great the place was for a hostel. They had the biggest and nicest shower of all the 13 places I stayed in during my 3 week vacation. The room had a complete private bathroom, a roof where you could walk around and even stretch out on chairs. There was a kitchen, gym, etc... Great place.

Good property for travelers on a budget. Clean, very basic, and minimalist but serves the purpose. Friendly staff who were kind and helpful. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Located centrally and walkable to many restaurants and tourist attractions. Free parking available in the local streets.

We were given 1st floor room on entering there was no television on the wall went to reception she said we had to pay on top of the first payment an extra 36 euros to get a new room with a television in so we did it was the same as the first room but also had a television in .what a ripe off wont be staying there again.

The Loop Inn cares about their guests and are very helpful with practically everything; change for laundry and calling you a cab, for example. They are even willing to assist with information for people who don't speak Spanish. If another guest isn't abiding by the rules and is inconsiderate, they will approach them so you don't have to. In essence, they make life easier at the Hostel. I cannot praise them enough.
The location is convenient as there are two grocery stores within walking distance it's a quick walk to the city center. There are also bus stops right down the street.
I highly recommend.

The staff is extremely professional, helpful and fair. If an issue arises, they will investigate instead of jumping to conclusions. They know hospitality.
The rooms are cleaned everyday and smell nice, as is the kitchen. There's a game room, a solarium and an area on the rooftop, so plenty of ways to gain solitude if you so desire. I definitely recommend it!
