The rooms are extremely small, with barely enough space to move around. The bed squeaks loudly with every movement, making it hard to sleep comfortably. Would not recommend for light sleepers or anyone expecting a restful stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, but the room facilities really need improvement. We rented three rooms on the first floor, and all of them had serious water leakage issues when showering — the entire bathroom floor would be soaked, which was very uncomfortable. In addition, one of the toilet paper rolls provided had a bad odor, which my friend also noticed.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely little hotel on a great street in the heart of Barcelona. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed complimentary coffee on rooftop patio. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy access to Metro. Be aware if you stay on street side you might hear neighborhood noise late into the evening. We will stay here again!

Great boutique hotel right on the RAMBLA and close to shopping and restaurants. Not far from the Gothic quarter and very close to the Metro. Very nice staff.

The stay overall was very poor, especially for the price per night of the hotel. First things I noticed when I checked in to my room were the AC was not cooling and the shower drain was plugged. I left the card in the slot in hopes that maybe it just needed time to cool, but it never did. When I went to the desk ask about it the next day, they said the whole 4th floor is out, as if they knew but never mentioned it. He offered me a standing fan, which I took because it was better than nothing. The room remained very hot, humid, and uncomfortable my whole stay. A lady came to unplug the drain, which water would flow into the room within one minute of starting to shower. She was quick and left; I immediately checked the shower and found that it was still backed up and still flooded the room. So she fixed nothing and left within a couple minutes. The shower lights barely worked and the tv didnt turn on either, just basic stuff that really shouldnt be an issue here. Do not recommend this place, and I wish I didnt spend so much on the room with the terrace.

Great location to explore central Barcelona, the sights, the shopping, and easy access to Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia metro stops, so you can easily get further afield. Rooms were snug, but for location we thought it was good value. Would return!

No se quede aqui! Sucio. El 28 de agosto llegamos al hotel después de volar por 9 horas y 5 de aeropuerto, me sorprendió mucho el estado del lobby. El señor trabajando en el front desk nos informó que era temprano y que nuestra habitación no estaba disponible. Dijo podíamos dejar las maletas y pasar al baño, en el 2do piso. El hotel está en muy mal estado, descuidado y sucio. El piso, las escaleras, las puertas , el ascensor, la alfombra manchada, paredes rotas, en fin necesita un equipo de limpieza y mantenimiento eficiente. No podíamos quedarnos a dormir en Mosaic cuando la falta de higiene y el descuido era muy obvia. Por mi experiencia en la industria hospitalaria esto era inaceptable. La reservación la hice por las fotos website. Lo más importante era que el hotel fuera seguro y limpio para descansar y disfrutar mis vacaciones en Barcelona. Me causó un ataque de ansiedad y pánico cuando no sabía donde dormiríamos esa noche. Había hecho la reserva con anticipación como es lo habitual. Le dije al empleado del front desk que no podíamos quedarnos hospedados ahí y el me dijo que tendría que cobrar por la primera noche. No quise causar problemas ni hacer un show porque habían otras personas presentes. Imaginen salimos del Mosaic y empezamos a caminar con maletas sin tener donde hospedarnos el stress que nos causó.

For the price, this hotel was not worth it, other than possibly the location, but there are many other hotels in same price range and location. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The room was small. Toilet area was super tight (and we aren't big people). The hot water wasn't working the day we arrived (and we needed a hot shower) and the first morning. It wasn't until the second morning that we had hot water. The shower leaked onto the floor of the room, quite substantially. And, there was a leak under the sink - where our towels were placed by the cleaning team. The television remote stuck on the volume and some other keys. The safe wouldn't lock. We did inform the staff of all these issues.

My room was not cleaned when I arrived at 10.30 pm after a long travel day. As no other rooms were free the front desk clerk told me to deal with it. The next morning they said they would not refund me as I had slept in the room therefore using their service. They also would not reimburse my next two nights if I left as my booking was non refundable. One of the worst experiences at a hotel for this ridiculous price with no managers or contact information for anyone other than the front desk staff. I cannot believe these places get away with this type of behaviour strictly because there is such a high demand for accommodation in these tourist cities.
