Papi Blau

Hotel Papi is a charming mini resort that made for a great family stay. Our children enjoyed exploring the safe grounds, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There were daily activities for both kids and adults, and karaoke night was especially fun, with everyone handed a microphone to sing along. The rooms were clean, but the beds were quite small for a family of four (three adults and a child). Thankfully, we had booked two rooms, which made our stay much more comfortable, and it was still a great value. Note that two full-size beds are pushed together to form a king, so space can feel tight. The balcony faced other buildings rather than the pool, but it was fine. The front desk staff were helpful and provided great local tips. Breakfast was a highlight, with both fresh and pre-made options, a great way to start the day. The beach nearby was rocky, making it difficult to get in and out of the water. Much of the coastline seemed to be the same. We took a short metro ride, about 10 minutes, to San Pol, a beautiful nearby beach town that felt like an oasis. The hotel is about two hours from Barcelona’s El Prat Airport (BCN), and a taxi costs around $250. We opted for the metro, which was tiring but gave us a more local experience. Hotel Papi wasn’t crowded and attracted both locals and international guests. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay outside the hustle of Barcelona, we definitely recommend it.

My flight was cancelled after my arrival to the airport due to ATC strikes. I immediately called the property and asked to cancel my reservation and for a refund since this was completely out of my control. They requested me to go through the booking agency, which I did. They still refused to even partly refund me for a package over $800 (including rental). Truly frustrating and disheartening for a service I did not receive and again was out of my control.

Everything was fine.

Great hotel in a good quiet spot

Tout était bien, sauf que nous avons du payer les frais locaux alors qu'ils étaient inclus dans le montant total que nous vous avons payé à la réservation.

Zimmer: die Matratzen sind für mich furchtbar unbequem. Die Kissen sind so hoch, dass man nicht darauf liegen kann, ohne eine Genick Schmerzen zu bekommen. Habe fast nicht schlafen können. Im Zimmer gab es nur einen Vorhang, aber keinen Verdunkelung Vorhang. Die Klimaanlage wird morgens in der Reinigung noch das Personal ausgeschalten. Also angekommen sind hat das Zimmer 29° und die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert. Nachdem ich mich in der Rezeption gemeldet hatte, wurde etwas eingeschalten und sie funktioniert dann sehr sehr langsam. In der Toilette gab es nicht mal einen Toilettenrollen Halter, und die Klopapierrolle wurde einfach auf den Wassertank der Toilette gestellt.

Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde, palvelu oli hyvää ja ravintoloissa jopa erinomaista. Ilmastointi ei ollut käytössä enää syyskuun lopussa, öisin oli välillä kuuma. Allasvesi kylmää, kuten lähes kaikissa hotelleissa täällä. Ruoka ihan maukasta.

Slecht eten koud

Es la tercera vez que vamos y seguro que no será la última. Lo que hace excepcional este hotel y que te sientes como en casa es el personal que tienen. Asi que si tienes niños y quieres pasar unos días tranquiloy disfrutando, no te lo pienses.

The Pool area it‘s very nice i would say!

Hôtel situé à 5min à pieds de la plage et des commerces. Bien entretenu et propre, la piscine est agréable avec le bar, dommage qu’il n’y ai pas plus de transats disponibles (ou que les gens les réserve depuis le matin). Peu de personnel parle bien francais, privilégier l’espagnol ou l’anglais

The hotel was previous a 3 star hotel and many of the hotels features still have 3 stars writen on them and only have 3 star quality The restaurant was really below standard - the quality and hygiene was very low in the restaurant and the open kitchen. The rooms was missing some things that you would expect for a 4 star hotel. No holder for the toiletpaper, no handsoup in the bathroom, no bedside tables and plastic chair in the room. As a silver member a bottle of wine was suppose to be included in the room but was not and staff had no idea about this promotion The staff was somewhat friendly and a positive for the stay but still the hotel should be rated at maximum 3 stars - unfortunalty the rating on the restaurant should be even lower

El hotel está muy bien por sus habitaciones, instalaciones y distancia con la estación de tren de Malgrat, pero no recomiendo para nada el buffet de cena, no tiene variedad, soso, seco y sin sabor; realmente es una pena que un hotel tan bonito ofrezca una cena tan deplorable.

Pas d’eau le matin pour les wc ascenseur sous dimensionné jacuzzi piscine ne fonctionne pas

Es heißt, dass das Personal, das Aushängeschild und Gesicht ist. Das kann ich hier nur bestätigen. Noch nie hatte ich so unheimlich freundliche und zuvorkommendes Personal erlebt. Auch das Essen, wirklich super!

Geweldig personeel, mooi zwembad.

Especial mención a la atención recibida por el recepcionista que nos atendió a nuestra llegada al hotel después de un viaje con incidentes y que fué de lo más empático y agradable y la verdad que fué de agradecer. Pido perdón ya que no recuerdo su nombre, pero su turno era el de la noche del 09 al 10/09/2022.
