Great stop off in Bilbao before going to San Sebastián. The room was clean and quiet and the beds comfortable.

Central location. Ideal for staying as a tourist.

Personal was pleasant, helpful, the room was small. It was fine for us. Provided an small refrigerator, it was helpful. Just hot , it only had a fan. Other than that it was confortable. Closed to train station, just steps away, close to stores . Minutes away from casco viejo and plaza nueva.

Clean and very well situated. Basic but that is reflected in the price.

Very good price, and great location. Right next to RENFE and FEVE train stations, 10 minute walk to the excellent bars and restaurants in the old town.

Great location, walkable, near to station amd tourit office. No aircon and was quite hit when we were there. A small fan supplied but it didn't do anything. Some sleepless nights due to heat.

This place is better than it looks from the outside - comfy bed, very clean, nice staff, great bathroom. Only slight downsides were it’s a little noisy from the street and the wooden doors mean you hear doors closing but other than that it’s fine.

The location was great. Old Town, shopping, was walking distance. More limited food experience. City tram stop was a block away providing good access to city Center. Property was funky, part hotel, part hostel.

Established 1st/2nd floor pension (with lift) in good location. Convenient for the Old Town, Metro and the Renfe/Feve train stations. Very helpful English speaking staff. Spotlessly clean, spacious suite overlooking Calle Amistad. Bars and restaurants on Amistad and others a short walk away. Third time we have booked this Pension.

Spacious room, good beds and very helpful staff in a great location near the city center and the train station. The hotel is basic, not upscale, but it served us well

This is a nice little hostel close to the centre of town. We were a bit concerned whether it might be too tight for us two to stay for two nights but it had enough space and the bathroom was bigger than expected. It was comfortable and the staff there were always very helpful. Also, the price is reasonable. So I recommend it highly.

Our room was very conveniently located a couple of minutes from the train station and only 5 minutes or so from Casco Viejo. It’s small, but clean and comfy. It got a bit warm outside our 2nd night and we were delighted that they provided a fan for us without our having to ask. We had a mini fridge in the room, so we could have cold water and snacks. I recommend it!

Interesting hotel near the action of Bilbao old town. Super and helpful owner/receptionist. Hotel is rated as a pension but has the quality of a hotel. It has very good renovation done with more to come. Only criticism is getting to the place via car. Even the GPS didn't get us close enough to unload luggage conveniently. Restaurant next door is outstanding for breakfast.

Good conditions in Begonia. The owner was agreeable, the hotel rather centrally located and we had no complaints about the service.

The location of the hotel is the reason to stay. It is a 5 minute walk across the short bridge to the Old Town. You get the advantages of the Old Town without having all the noise, especially weekends. The Gug Museum is about 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the hotel is nothing special. The amenities are film packets of soap and shampoo. No restaurant. There is no coffee maker, only a vending machine in the lobby that is really weak. The doors in the hall slam when anyone comes or goes. It is a particular problem in the morning. Beware of the shower design. There are jets that spray at you when you turn it on. The staff is nice enough.

Basic hotel in central Bilbao, spitting distance from the river. It's dated and worn, but cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful although English is limited.
