I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pensión Mollo and it exceeded all of my expectations. The caretaker at the hotel was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my entire stay. From the moment I arrived, they made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. The caretaker went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met, and they were always available to offer assistance or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. Their genuine kindness and hospitality truly made my stay memorable. The hotel itself was charming and well-maintained, with cozy rooms and a lovely atmosphere. The location was fantastic, close to many attractions and dining options. Overall, my experience at Pensión Mollo was outstanding thanks to the caring and friendly caretaker. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the area if you’re a single traveler!

Located in a very unassuming hole in the wall, it was easy to miss at first. But it was a great location for walking around and the owner was super friendly and helpful. If all you need is a bed and a place to keep your luggage while you explore than i highly recommend.

La ubicación es magnífica, muy cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad. Los medios de transporte están muy cercanos y variados. La pensión luce un poco vieja. Un inconveniente es que está en un 4° piso y no hay elevador.

Easy to find, near the train station. I stayed one night to be close to Atocha for an early train. No lift, but they have luggage storage on the ground floor if you don't need suitcase overnight.

This is a really personable and easy-to-locate pensión that I personally much prefer to a hotel, because I like things affordable and atmospheric with spirit of place. The single bed was smallish (probably not suitable for anyone over six foot, so ask for another option if you are; there are double rooms and bigger beds which would cost marginally more than I paid). Aniceto the proprietor was helpful and efficient; the location is unbeatable, especially if you want to get to and from Barajas by the 3 euro airport train from Atocha. No problems with hot water; this place is perfect for independently-minded people who know what they're doing and can scale three or four staircases.

The gentleman who owns the Pension was most kind and helpful as I needed an umbrella first & the next morning a cab at 6am ! He was also available to answer my questions regarding fares. The Pension was well situated and clean, though I would recommend the windows be opened to bring fresh air into the gallway and rooms.

Convenient location, near the bus and train station. Small supermarket and other shops across the road and spotlessly clean great value cafe for breakfast underneath. Also walkable distance from the Prado. Very friendly staff - family run, and felt very safe. No lift , accommodation on 3rd floor.
