We stayed at Cinnamom Red for only 2 days during the 2019 Xmast holiday, but it was excellent. The room and the bathroom were impeccably clean. The check-in was fast. The breakfast menu was awesome, it gave us opportunity to taste the array of Sri Lankan cuisine. The breakfast staff, Kasun and Bhanuke, were helpful in giving us a bit more insights on the Sri Lankan cuisine and culture. We would definitely stay at Cinnamon Red again if we go to Colombo again. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights prior to leaving for USA. The facilities offered matched our needs. The room was functional and modern. The TV was difficult to operate and lacked choices. The Gym was small but had mostly needed equipment. I missed having a roving equipment. The food was not up to expectations. We will be going back as there is no other hotel that caters to travelers.

Unfortunately their staff are untrained and nonresposive people. To get a small service as to get a shower cap, I waited 30mins. I waited nearly 1 hr to get clean towels as they left the same dirty towels folded back in a deciving manner. Even after leaving additional deposits and authorization to hold my credit card, they took 45 mins for my checkout and delayed my return trip. No sense of time and disregard for others time waste! The reception staff have a big problem in arithmetic for converting local currency to US$ and they make it three times higher than the real amount. Be careful!
