Deva the caretaker made the difference. He was fantastic. A very caring man. The owner Dinesh and his wife very responsive and we felt so comfortable going forth our chosen residence in Colombo. We have stayed at the Hilton, Cinnamon Grand, Kingsbury , Cinnamon Lake etc. but this is the place to stay. 10/10

Excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Occazia. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. The surronding is peaceful and quiet. There is a rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a relaxing evening drink ! We got food items from the supermarket close by and were able to prepare in the kitchen. The caretaker helped to cook and our stay was very relaxing. It is like a home away from home. There are also alot of restaurants and takeaways close by to order food.

WOW. We walked in and realized that there are security cameras everywhere and the fact that the caretaker was to stay with us is not advertised at all. We didnt feel comfortable so we just left.. the worst part? Hotels.com was never able to reach the manager, so we never got refunded for the money. we did NOT stay here, so i would think twice before staying here. If you are okay with staying with a caretaker, why not? but we just didn't feel comfortable and something about this place was OFF and we were not feeling safe.
