Room was excellent, food & drinks were great, staff exceptionally friendly and curteous. Hotel is a little remote, but that's the appeal - 20 min walk into the local town / beach, and 10 minute Tuktuk back up the hill. (Usually LKR 500 - £1.25 or thereabouts)

I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! I was able to eat really good plant based meals without getting bored of the menu. The chef would come out to chat, and was very keen to ensure I enjoyed the food. All of the staff make you feel part of the family and nothing was too much trouble. They organised a driver for my longer trips, and a tuk driver who was perfect for getting into local towns or the beach. I had a plunge pool room which was worth the extra. Relaxing out there, with an endless view of the jungle, the ocean in the distance, and monkeys leaping from the trees is pure heaven. The monkeys even enjoyed coconuts above my sun lounger one morning. I have no doubt I will return!

Absolutely stunning place! Loved everything about it, definitely need to make this your destination when visiting South Sri Lanka. From service to food to the views, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a beautiful property nestled inside the jungle on a mountain slope and we had stunning views of the ocean from our plunge pool suite. However, the food was atrociously bad. They had limited menu, which is alright but the quality was horrible. The included breakfast was made to order, when my wife ordered pancakes, they brought us cold pancakes prepared much earlier. Same with the fresh cut fruits. Next day we went outside for breakfast as we had our own vehicle. We wanted to utilize the Spa service and asked them the day before. They don't have any inhouse staff for spa. But they couldn't arrange anyone from outside. Imagine, they have "Spa" in their name! The wifi was a bit patchy. We didn't utilize the pool(it is a small pool) as it was raining most of the time during our stay.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker, aber auch etwas kostenintensiver. Können das Hotel sehr empfehlen !
