Best Western Sur

Dated room- hot water didn't work. Poor facilities overall. The parking was the only good thing.

Great staff, very good food, and super clean.

The staff at the restaurant were rude and very pushy. We came about 60-90 minutes before closing and they looked annoyed. We sat down and they told us we had to let them know in 5 minutes if we wanted food or we couldn’t order because they would close the kitchen. We asked if we could order shisha and they told us we had to go to the other side of the pool to do that. We mentioned we wanted to order food as well and they said “which one fo you want first. You have to eat here but smoke shisha over there” We ended up only ordering hummus and some bread because they gave us such a hard time. They came to our table about 5-6 times to see if we were finished with the food because they wanted to clean up. It was annoying and not a great impression

The shower was a bit hit and miss. Rooms basic. Dated. Has great pool great bar.. food was hit and miss. Location was good

Convenient place, friendly staff, clean room

Quality vs price, nothing to complain. We ate at the restaurant, service and food was excellent. We also took advantage of the their pool which was a plus for us.

The Sur Plaza hotel is a decent place to stay in Sur, Oman. It is easy to find when you drive into town. The restaurant has good food for breakfast and dinner. The staff was friendly.

I actually booked this place by mistake, but it turned out well. The hotel was a very pleasant place for an overnight stay. The room was spacious ( actually a surprise upgrade on my original booking ) and well laid out. Staff were very helpful. The evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast was okay - though I arrived a little too late, I think. Having fresh, rather than processed cheese would have been nicer. All in all, a good place for a business stopover.

Very nice hotel, spacious and clean rooms. Very good selection for breakfast. Dinner buffet also good, especially that you can get beer, wine or whisky with it. Would recommend it and would stay again.

We had an excellent stay at the Sur Plaza Hotel - the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was modern and spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the on-site restaurant. The location is perhaps not amazing - on the side of a highway into Sur - but you’d never know it sitting out by the pool. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location for the wadi’s and turtles (if you have a car). It’s a basic accommodation but comfortable, clean and has the necessities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean and nice rooms. A bit outside of the old town or city centre, but ok if you're on the go as it's already near the highway to go north or south.

both buffet and breakfast dinner was great. Try Tandoori and garlic Naan. the hotel is a 3 star and you cannot expect much but reasonably it is ok for 1 night stay while you are travelling from a city to the other.

The only issue was the cost of the buffets, however the food was good, just over priced. Front desk staff very good and helpful.

Nice, clean simple stay here at Sur Plaza. Not by the water but close enough that it's relatively easy to reach. There was construction on the main road so getting to the hotel is a little inefficient (access through a side street). Bathroom shower was a bit outdated but it was clean and functional. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site has breakfast, lunch and dinner options which is convenient.

The hotel is nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly spacious and the bed was large and fairly comfortable. It is a bit out of town so having a car is necessary. The only issue really was the dinner - a buffet is really the only option. Although there is an a la carte it was not really an option as they said the food would take ages. I understand this when the hotel is full, but when there was only a few of us it seemed unnecessary to have a buffet.
