Beautiful hotel by the water with stunning views, friendly, comfortable rooms and most delicious breakfast buffet. We would gladly stay there again. Great location close by to many attractions to walk to. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Hotel Gothenburg. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to shopping and to many tourist sites. Also there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel as well as a ferry boat terminal. It is also an easy walk to the train/bus stations. The hotel is clean and modern with a lot of interesting photos of Gothenburg posted throughout the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped me locate an open currency exchange store when I checked in. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel to people visiting Gothenburg.

This was a fantastic place to stay. It was close to the railway station and a safe walk to every tourist spot. I loved the room and the breakfast was excellent.

Inside room, no view. Good location to all tourist attractions, good public transportation all around but didn't use them. Breakfast is good quality. Weather wasn't helpful but definitely no regret to make Gothenburg the first stop for Sweden. Comfort inn makes it worth to come back again in nicer weather.

Although the breakfast food was a good selection, the arrangements for tables left something to be desired - on one occasion I had left some food on the table, to indicate that it was still in use, only to come back with more food and find that the table was occupied by a couple and my food had gone!

My stay at this hotel was abysmal. The self check-in was so slow and difficult that I needed staff assistance, only to be told rooms are serviced every four days. Despite being promised service on day four of my five-night stay, my room was never cleaned, leaving me to repeatedly request fresh towels and toilet paper while rubbish and dirty linens piled up. A key reason for booking was the rooftop terrace, but it remained closed on clear, calm days; when I asked, staff shrugged and said it only opens if the bar owner feels like it. I travel to Gothenburg monthly with co-workers and had suggested this hotel for our group, but after this experience, we will not be returning.

We stayed here as part of a 4 day trip to Gothenburg. The hotel is very centrally located and as easy access to publice transport. WE had a premium room with a balcony which overlooked the river and it was really nice to have that space. They could clean the balcony a bit more often as it was a little dusty. The room otherwise was very nice and clean.Breakfast thoug is a bit of a mad rush. You had to book your timeslot the day before, but despite doing that no one check if you had booked when you came down. It meant that it was extremely busy when we went (despite going in our designated time slot) and it was difficult to find seating.

We had a very nice week long stay. The night staff were very helpful and the property itself was nice. Our only complaint is the room-the beds are very basic, duvet cover only with no flat sheets. Pillows were lumpy and very used. We also had to ask for a room cleaning which is only available on the 4th days of your visit so if you need towels or to you must go retrieve this yourself from the front desk. Breakfast was very good though.

The hotel s clean, the breakfast is good and the staff is great. The breakfast area is 2 floors both with great selection of food. It is clean and the hotel area is walkable to many great destinations. My family and I will return.
