Great service. I mistook the time breakfast closed by one hour, but the staff helped me get breakfast anyway.

You stay in the smallest room imaginable in what appears to be former stable rooms. Good luck finding staff. Don't try to wash your hair in the shower as it's so small you can't get your arms to your head. Weird smell in the stable/room. Breakfast was fine, but half the dishes were empty both mornings. There is an epic karaoke room though...that was super fun

AC didn’t work, and there are no laundry facilities for guests, but I’m finding that’s a problem in the entire country of Sweden! Asked three different people for towels, and finally had to follow the third person to get them.

The best hotel ever

Nice area with the old castle in the middle. But far from the center of Stockholm.

I arrived about 11pm at the hotel. There was no clear sign for reception or any evidence of staff and there appeared to be a wedding reception type event on in the orangery. I went to the courtyard area, thinking that must be where reception is. I spent about 10 minutes trying different doors, feeling frazzled after my flight. I ended up phoning the hotel and asking how I get to reception, which did turn out to be back at the orangery area. The staff seemed to be laughing at me and made no attempt to then show me back to where my room was, back at the courtyard, other than to hand me a badly printed photocopy of a map. It was now 11.30pm at night. My room number was 128 but this room is not shown on any of the outside entry points to the courtyard buildings. The was a 19-127 door so I tried this on the off chance. I eventually found my room tucked away in a corner and it did indeed have its own entrance, which is not marked. Then the room! Hideous. Who wants a toilet behind their bed with a clear glass partition between the toilet and the main bedroom?? Toilet was also broken so filled up for 1 hour + after flushing. Lampshade by the bed was broken, 2 of the blinds were broken and the curtains wouldn't close to cover the broken blind window so the sun woke me at 0330 sun rise... And then there was the room and corridor heat. It is suffocating. The radiators were off but the room was about 30 degrees. I had to have 3 windows open which meant I could hear noise.

We had a bit of an effort to find the hotel. GPS put us nearby (at a traffic circle with six exits). I was considering calling the hotel and asking them to send up a flare, however we asked someone at the gas station and found the hotel. (hint - take the darkest exit from the circle [where the train runs] go one block and take first left and another left shortly thereafter. The hotel is quite nice. It was built in the 1600's. It is a charming place. Do not miss seeing the garden plots behind the hotel. The room was fine. There is a nice bar and lounge. Included Breakfast was great. (Had dinner at the Thai restaurant nearby - was good.) They advertise 20K to the airport when it is actually 40K. We arrived late at night and were shown to the room which is in a separate building. We each had a big roller bag but my wife was not offered assistance. Overall there is good value and a welcomed change from the cookie cutter mid priced hotels.

Lovely, peaceful castle hotel. Recommended if you have a car to access town. It seems like an ideal place for meetings and events for small to medium sized groups.

Hard to find, but good place to stay

This hotel was the perfect place to stay and take the train into visit Stockholm. We were totally comfortable in our room. Breakfast was delicious and peaceful. The hotel itself and grounds were very unique and interesting. The common areas of the hotel were lovely to relax in. Coffee and tea were available all day, which was excellent.

The hotel is quite a walking distance from public transport, no shuttle busses and as the taxis are not regulated, they can charge whatever the like. Wifi only worked in the lobby and not as stated in the rooms also. Overall the Hotel was nice, the rooms are all individually designed and clean, the breakfast selection good, just too far away from everything.

Helt fantastisk personal! Väldigt hjälpsamma vid sen incheckning på ankomstdagen. Och lyckades ordna fram middag efter ett löplopp trots att hela restaurangen var abonnerad. Guldstjärna till er!🌟

Rummet och hotellet var bra, sängen var väldigt bekväm och området är tyst. Häftit med ett stort badkar i rummet. Väldigt konstigt att det inte fanns någon dörr mellan sovrummet och toaletten. Vi hade tyvärr ett problem med elen under vår vistelse och personalen kunde ha hanterat det bättre utan mina upprepade påminnelser eftersom jag fick gå till receptionen fler gånger för att dem aldrig svarade på telefon.

Tyvärr har det införts avgift på parkering. Att parkera en MC är lika dyrt som bil, vilket är märkligt. En särskild parkering för MC och avgiftsfri bör ordnas.

Book the suites, to get more castle experiance

Bra och prisvärt hotell. Skönt med en extrasäng som var fullsize och som fick plats i rummet. Maten och servicen på slottet var under all kritik. Servitrisen kunde inte förklara vad de tre huvudrätterna bestod av, maten var sedan oätligt salt, vilket de visste om när vi påtalade det. Frukosten och boende var dock väldigt bra
