The receptionist is super friendly and the room was really modern and great with a fantastic view over the river. It is spotless and feels really new. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking but that is preference so not really an issue. The only slight downside is that you are not able to control the temperature directly in the room and it apparently takes 24 hours to adjust the temperature so slept with the patio doors open which worked really well.
The restaurant for dinner is brilliant although a bit slow on the service but still lovely and very friendly and amazing quality of the food. The breakfast is very good too.

A really good country hotel, lovely location, friendly and efficient service, spotlessly clean. Happy to recommend for a short or long stay. Well worth a twenty minute diversion from the main road even if you are just travelling north or south to find a haven of tranquility

Wonderful 3 day visit. From the very start, meeting Maria in reception, the friendliness and service was superb. When we couldn't ski, the absolute best experience was the 10km mt bike trip with free bikes from the hotel.
One question we couldn't get answered was why some people in the restaurant were getting meals that weren't on the menu... We had great burgers, though!

Hestraviken Hotel og Spa er en dejlig oplevelse, som jeg klart kan anbefale. Vi besøgte Hestraviken på grund af spaen og omgivelserne. I forhold til steder som Falkenberg Strandbad eller Ystad Saltsjöbad er der tale om en meget lille spa, men det er hyggeligt og velholdt, og har sin egen charme. Den eneste grund til, at jeg ikke giver femstjernet rent ud, er, at billeder får det til at se ud som om, man er lidt mere ude i vild natur, end man er. Der er stadig meget fint omkrig hotellet, men man skal vende sig rigtigt for at få en fornemmelse af at være ude i skoven.

Det var fint med rummet och frukost men syn på spa och bubbel badkar för det finns åldersgräns till barn så mitt barn kunde inte bara med Spa och det kostar extra 350 kr om man vill använda bubbel badkar.
