This is a suburb hotel, extremely well run with stunning food with nature all around you. I stay in lots of hotels all across the world and this one is something really special. It was my second visit and I’ll certainly be back again. Keep up the amazing work!

For conditions I have to put one star less but overall it is a fantastic Hotel and one of my favourite hotel. Currently they are renovating the hotel so a bit of building works. Still - excellent food/service/spotless clean - a lovely stay as always.

Excellent foods as usual. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked this time so we had bad meals which was very good also. I always stay at this hotel whenever I come to Sandviken.

Lovely individual hotel set in beautiful landscaped grounds with lakes and forest, lots of walking and cycling trails, kayaking and other facilities available. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast a bit strange as there was no toaster and there didn't seem to be much hot food apart from tomatoes with cheese on top (maybe I arrived a bit early!). The bar has a great range of beers and wines on offer. I couldn't comment on the restaurant because I'm vegan so there wasn't anything on the menu for me (not a complaint, I don't expect a hotel to cater for my lifestyle choices) but in general this is a really nice, comfortable, peaceful place with an extra touch of quality you don't always find in Sweden. Overall I would certainly recommend this place, just a few minutes off the motorway too so convenient for overnight stays on a longer journey

Very slow check in and checkout. The lady at reception claimed that 15:00 is when checkin starts and as they don’t have clean room, I’ll just have to wait!

The restaurant is excellent and very much a treat. Bar menu and drinks choice very good and a relaxed area to spend the evening doing some work. Addition of WiFi in rooms since last visit is an advantage. Very friendly helpful staff and an excellent base to visit customers in the area.

I was an alright stay. The dinner was excellent, local wagyu burger. The rooms was quite far from the reception (there are rooms closer, but they might have been fully booked, I could not see this during my booking though) which is probably great if your going for a recreational trip, but was less great for my business trip. The WiFi was great and the rooms tidy, even thought the beds were kind of on the soft side and a bit small. The breakfast was ok, but something was off with the scrambled eggs, they tasted of flour (?), I told them but and they listened but it's unclear if they did anything about it. Also, I could have got the same room for half the price if I booked more than 7 days in advance. They staff was not on point in there service but I've experienced worse.

As a frequent business traveller, I always use this hotel when I am in Sandviken. Overall always all good. Heating sytem was not working properly this time and I felt a bit cold in the room (it was already snowing outside.)

We ate all of our meals at the onsite restaurant and they were fantastic! The breakfast buffet was typical European with meats and cheeses, including fish, with an emphasis on fresh yogurt. The dinner was absolutely phenomenal as well (the dessert buffet!). The grounds were very serene and charming; it was like walking through an old village from scores back.

We stayed in the Sports lodge across the lake from the main hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast spread each morning was wonderful. We attended a wedding at the hotel, and the food, hosting and venue were all amazing - what a wonderful weekend! We hired a car from Stockholm airport, and the hotel was easy to find, about 1.5 hours drive away.
